Since the red energy ball was too quick for Aakesh to dodge, he had no choice but to face it head-on.

Since the energy ball gave him a sense of danger, Aakesh didn't directly face it. He instead activated the sword skill he had bought from the store a day earlier.

Right after he activated it, an invisible aura of sharpness surrounded his sword that was covered in silver blood.

"Crash!"

The next moment,  a crashing sound rang in the area as the energy ball overpowered him, and the force due to the clash of his sword and the ball had knocked him backward.

Fortunately for him, he didn't get any serious injury, just a few shallow scratches.

The wolf king didn't give him the chance to counterattack as it had already prepared another energy blast for Aakesh.
