"What are you doing out here alone in the middle of the night", asked the big dark scary man as he approached a little girl. "I - I, please don't hurt me", she mumbled, taking a few steps backward. His face could not be seen except for his bright white eyes and teeth. He had fangs stained with blood. Probably the blood of his previous victim. And an evil smile on his face. He kept moving slowly, closer to the little girl. She took to her heels, screaming for help as she ran. After running a while, she looked back to see the scary man but he wasn't there. Just when she thought she was safe, she turned around to see him standing right in front of her. Immediately, he grabbed her and pierced his teeth in her neck.

"Wow, interesting dream", Veronica smiled, looking at Ethan like she was expecting him to back her up. "I couldn't agree more", Ethan replied. Nicholas didn't find his dream funny. He was convinced something was wrong. This was the first time he ever dreamed of monsters but he couldn't make his parents understand. "Enough talking baby, you don't wanna be late for school".

"Welcome to the Jerkins family. My dad works in a bank, a few minutes ride from home. While my mom is a teacher at my school, Sun Peak High. That's pretty much everything you need to know about my family. Wait! Where's Chloe?".

"Mom, where's Chloe?". Colour Chloe is my younger sister and only sibling. I'm very fine of her. Though I sometimes wish I had a brother instead, I'm glad she was born. "She's sleeping over at Kate's place". "Sleepover? Isn't she too old for that?", Nicholas asked. "Too old? Says an eighteen year old boy who dreams of monsters in his sleep", Nicholas mom mocked. Nicholas was already used to his mom's teasing. He knew better than to reply. "What?! Cat got your tongue?", she laughed, pushing him to say something. "Mom I better get going. Don't wanna be late for school". "Alright, I'll just grab my bag and keys". "I was thinking of taking a bus today. My friends..." My baby is all grown up", she cut him off. " And is even ashamed to ride with momma to school". " No mom, it's not...". "Do you have a girlfriend?", she cut him off again. "I don't", he replied almost immediately. "Then you're still a baby. Now wait here while I go get my bag and keys, you're riding with me".
