A rich male voice echoed in the room, "You look disappointed, were you perhaps expecting someone else?"
Zane looked at him without an expression on his face. Wasn't it obvious?
Rubbing his cheeks, he looked at Ronan Valois before his eyes suddenly brightened. Wasn't his cousin in his final year in the Department of Strategy and Tactical Operations? Surely as a leader, he should have made a lot of friends and connections, and perhaps a sure way into the Leaders Conference in the Empire.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something on my face?" Ronan asked seriously and reached out to check.
Zane rolled his eyes, he had almost forgotten that Xavier and this oldest cousin of his shared the same socially awkward gene.
"You have cleaned it." He said calmly.
And the other nodded, "Thank you. I apologize, I heard the news yesterday but I was taking an exam. How are you doing?"
