2012, Stark Tower, After the Battle of New York / The Incident

"I'll have that drink now" Loki said, referencing Stark's earlier offer of a drink.

"No, we have a more perilous situation" Thor said with a grave voice.

"Oh yeah, can you please tell us what did your father mean that some Thrawn is leading a galactic army to earth after the Chitauri invaded?" Tony jokingly said

"This is not a joke Stark, I need your help" Thor said while seeing all the Avengers, he continued "Order all heads of governments across Midgard and make it quick, I will explain it"

Meanwhile on the Helicarrier

"Captain America saved my life" One waitress said on one of the various news channels that were talking about the battle of New York.

"They were amazing" A police officer said on a different channel.

"They saved my dads life" A girl said on another channel.

"They were amazing, totally spectacular!"

"I still can't believe it happened"

"It was chaos, it was like fire and destruction raining down on us"

"I saw Iron Man!!"

"I don't know where they've gone, I don't know who they are, but thank you. All of you"

"They're calling themselves the Avengers."

"Wherever the Avengers have gone, you have our thanks"

"Superheroes in New York? Give me a break"

Fury muted the screens, his face right now could only be descried as smug. After listening to everyone doubt him, he had finally proven them wrong. The Avengers weren't just a possibility now, they existed and they worked together. His plan worked, and everyone knows it. He turned to look at the screens showing the world security council.

"Where are the Avengers?" Gideon Malick asked.

"I'm not currently tracking their whereabouts" Fury replied "I think after all they've done, they've earned a leave of absence."

"And the Tesseract?" Councilwoman Hawley questioned Fury with a slightly hopeful voice, one that Fury could see right though easily. He knew they still wanted the Tesseract so they could build weapons, fat chance of that happening now.

"It is right where it belongs," Fury answered "out of our reach"

"That was not your call" Malick said, trying and failing to hide his disappointment and anger from Fury.

"I didn't make it, I just didn't argue with the god who did."

"So you let it take it and the war criminal Loki who should be answering for his crimes?" Malick asked with a touch of disbelief.

"Oh I wouldn't worry about that" Fury states

"I don't think you fully understand what you're doing Director Fury" Councilwoman Hawley frowned "letting the Avengers lose on this world, they are uncontained and they are dangerous."

"Exactly, and the whole world knows it. EVERY world knows it."

"Was that the point of this director? A statement?" Malick asked

"No" Fury shook his head "a promise." He turned and began walking away

"Sir we have a call, its from Stark Tower" Hill reported to Fury

"Put in on the line"

Immediately afterwards they see Tony's face lighting up the screen and the rest of the Avengers while on the corner of his eye, he saw something troublesome, Thor being nervous and ...scared? Whatever it is Fury has a bad feeling because anything that scared Thor, is definitely bad news.

"Yeah Nick? Hello from Stark Tower. It seems we have a situation. Do you remember when Odin called Thor? Yeah it's about that. Thor would you explain it to us buddy? About that other Alien Army near Jupiter?" Tony said while normal people saw that Tony is relaxing, the fact that he called Thor 'Thor' gives it away Fury that he is serious/nervous/afraid.

"Before we fought the Chitauri, my father gave me a warning of the Eternal Fleet near the planet which you Midgardians called Jupiter. But before I explain why my father, the King of Asgard sounded afraid about this threat, let me explain it to you first about the Eternal Empire.

The Eternal Empire or also known to the universe as the Empire of Zakuul, is probably the most powerful government in the universe, surpassing even Asgard. Before I was born, my father launched a conquest resulting in most in the Nine Realms to fall into Asgard's territory, however being young my father tried to conquer other systems as well. One of this world is Zakuul. At that time, the Eternal Empire just suffered from a civil war which was caused by a failed coup. For over 5000 Years, the Empire which was founded by the First Emperor, Valkorion the Tyrant suffered a steady decline, in which about 1000 years ago, his son and daughter, Crown Prince Arcann and Princess Vaylin launched a coup againts their father.

The coup was brutal, and many people was killed. Because of this, Emperor Valkorion's youngest son, Prince Thexan decided that enough is enough and he decided to end both his father's rule abd his siblings coup that was tearing the Empire apart. He succeeded and the war was over, but the Empire was left severely weakened.

Yet the new Emperor Thexan is perhaps the greatest ruler I have ever seen, a capable military commander, a powerful entity too since he managed to defeat his father and siblings in a 3v1 battle, and more importantly a capable leader. In just several years after he claimed the throne Emperor Thexan managed to recover all of the Empire's lost territory while launching a massive conquest of multiple planets and galaxies.

By the time my father led an invasion to the Empire, they are no longer weakened by the civil war, and actually managed to stall my father and my sister for over 1000 years. Then they did the impossible. Emperor Thexan led a massive fleet of over 100 Million ships to Asgard and a ridiculous amount of troops landed in Asgard, nearly conquering us too. Had it not for the power of my father, Asgard would have been conquered by them."

By this point, nearly everyone is sweating while Fury blanched as if Asgard is inferior to this Eternal Empire, then what and who can stop them. He is thinking about calling Carol, to ask if she could help defeat or perhaps stalling this enemy.

"Luckily for us, Emperor Thexan was willing to listen, in exchange for several items of immense value and total reparations of the areas that suffered during the war, he will pull back his troops and allow Asgard to rule independently, including the Nine Realms will be left alone.

Ever since that day, there is a saying that my father and everyone in the universe who remembered until now 'Kneel before the Dragon of Zakuul' which served as a reminder not to challenge the power of the Eternal Throne, and by extension the Dragon of Zakuul, the Eternal Emperor."

Seeing that all is now listening intently, Thor continued

"Now, my father has commanded me to gather all midgardians in one spot or perhaps several spots should the Empire tried to invade Earth, because with the destruction of Bifrost, Asgard cannot send reinfocements to defend Earth. therefore I will use the Tesseract to transport as many people as possible to Asgard."

At that moment Steve interrupted "I'm sorry but Thor, you know them better than we do, what do you think is their reason for coming here?"

"I don't know my friends, but I presume that it is somehow connected to the Tesseract, as the Tesseract was known to be in the possesion of Asgard, not MIdgard. Maybe they want to investigate it as when you tampered with the Tesseract, it acts like a beacon throughout the Universe that Earth is able to harness and is more than capable of using the power of the Tesseract. If that it so, then there is unfortunately a possibility that Earth is challenging the authority of the Eternal Throne, as there is a pact between Asgard and Zakuul about the use of the cube. When my father managed a truce with them, one of the key aspect is the prohibition of the usage of the Tesseract, and seeing that someone other than Asgard is using the Tesseract is more than enough reason perhaps to make them think that Earth, and by extension Asgard is preparing for war."

Seeing the threat, Fury immediately contacted the WSC to tell them of the situation while the Avengers immediately went to work. In the meantime Loki who heard about the conversation immediately paled as he knows that even Thanos the Mad Titan is wary of starting a war with the Dragon of Zakuul and should the Etrenal Empire declare war on Asgard, he might not have the possibility to sit on any throne as he knows that posing as Emperor Thexan is impossible since only a fool would try to sit on the Eternal Throne posing as the Emperor since the Throne is somewhat sentient and capable of recognising a poser/pretender that sits on the Throne.

All in all, it has been a very bad day for everyone
