My death

I woke up in the morning feeling like I was dying. My head ached while my back groaned. I got out of bed and stumbled on my way to the bathroom and started getting ready for the day. -briiiiing briiiiing- I can hear my phone going off from my bedroom. I walk over groggily.

As soon as my thumb touches the answer button I hear, "Hey Jake can you come into the base today? The new recruits need a bit of teaching, if ya get what I mean... Get your ass over hear now!"

My boss sounded quite a bit furious. "Guess I'm going to work today. Yaaay." I say sarcastically like there was someone else living with me. That's right I'm twenty-nine and have no girlfriend.laugh all you want in the comments. I don't care, people already make fun of me In this world of fiction.

Almost immediately after I finish putting on my instructor uniform my phone goes off. When I click answer and walk out of my house my boss shouts through the phone, " The hell are you! Your supposedly be here already. Seriously, how'd you even become a cap-" I turned my phone off and rushed into my Jeep Cherokee and drove straight to the Navel base.

After a half hour drive I finally arrive at the base. When I get out of my car I lock it then immediately jog off into the barracks that the new recruits are at. All the while a slight whistling noise was going off, getting louder and louder. "All personal are ordered to leave the base. I repeat all personal are ordered to leave the base. There is an enemy nuke coming. It will arrive in less then ten minutes!"

I can see a black dot slowly getting bigger over the horizon and a whistling noise that is also starting to get slightly louder by the second. I rush off into the distance to the recruits, because they would be the main ones not knowing where to go in this situation. I can see them running wildly towards the exit behind me.

The whistling noise that I heard earlier is now starting to become almost deafening. The black dot, now the size of a car, Is at most five hundred yards above the ground. "This is the end I, isn't it. I wish I was able to finish my shows and that Goku is able to beat Jiren." Those are the last thoughts that came to my mind as a loud bang went off and everything went black.
