Arthur stood there, his body shaking with adrenaline and his mind struggling to grasp what just happened. The memory of his fight with Hitler was still fresh in his mind. The metal monster was far too powerful for Arthur to handle, and he knew it. Every punch he threw was deflected, every strike he made was countered. Arthur was losing the fight, and he could feel his strength waning.
Then, as Arthur lay on the ground, defeated, Hitler leaned over him and spoke. It was a mocking laugh, a cruel taunt, that sent shivers down Arthur's spine. And then, suddenly, everything went white. There was a deafening explosion, and Arthur felt himself being lifted up, carried away on a gust of wind.
When the white light faded, Arthur found himself floating in the air, his arms spread wide, and a pair of majestic wings extending from his back. The wingspan was incredible, and Arthur felt as if he could fly for miles. He looked down, and saw that Hitler was gone, vanished without a trace.
Arthur couldn't believe what had happened. He had always dreamt of having wings, but he never thought it would happen like this. He was still in shock, still trying to process what had just happened.
Suddenly, Arthur felt his wings retracting into his back, and he fell to the ground. He landed hard, but he didn't feel any pain. His body was now back to normal, but he was different somehow. He could feel a new power inside of him, something that he had never felt before.
Arthur got up and saw that Okita and I were tied up nearby, still trapped. He broke the chains that bound us, and we stood up, wincing at the pain in our bodies. We had been captured by Hitler's men, and we had been held prisoner for what felt like days. It was only thanks to Arthur's heroics that we were able to escape.
"What happened?" I asked Arthur, still trying to catch my breath.
"I don't know," Arthur said, still dazed. "I just felt this energy building up inside me, and then...the wings. I don't understand it."
Merlin appeared suddenly, and he looked at Arthur with a mix of awe and fear.
"Arthur," he said, his voice trembling. "I have never seen anything like this before. You have tapped into something ancient, something powerful. Be careful, my friend, for this power is not to be trifled with."
Arthur nodded, still unsure of what had just happened to him. But one thing was certain - he had defeated Hitler. And now, he was ready to take on Genghis Khan and anyone else who stood in his way.
As we set out towards the south, towards Genghis Khan's stronghold, Arthur was more determined than ever. He had unlocked a new power, one that he knew would help him in his quest to save the world. We walked in silence, our bodies battered and bruised, but our spirits unbroken. We were the last hope for humanity, and we were not going to let them down.
