THE CHAMPION'S TOKEN

After hearing the Champion's inquiry about a favor that she could do as a friend for Evelyn, Einsof's Chosen One once again sank to nostalgia.

She went back to a moment in her previous life, when she was sitting under a tree in the training ground looking all exhausted having recently done with all her training for the day. She was slightly older this time compared to her previous trip down the memory lane.

As the young Princess rested within the shadow underneath the tree, the Champion of Mortalia, Countess Gerhardt, emerged behind the girl and sat beside her.

"I knew you were being serious back then. But it's still surprised me you managed to hold on this long with my training." said the middle-aged woman.

"Frankly speaking, I was barely keeping up." said the Princess. "There were moments of our training where I felt that I could've collapsed right away."
