The Champion of Mortalia spoke those words to a Jibril Crystal placed inside her tent in Duke Shaughnessy's main camp. As the Jibril Crystal was a communication device, the countess was talking to someone who had the same artifact with them. That person would be the Doulos of Mortalia, Daniel Hayworth.

"I don't want to say 'I told you so' but I told you so." said Daniel through the crystal. "I could've helped you with the A-rank demon."

"Nah, that's not why I'm regretting not taking you." said the Champion. "And the Tritannus was already half-dead by the time I get there. All I needed to do was to finish it off."

"I thought you were exaggerating when you told me the first time." said the Doulos. "But the Leonardo Army really did inflict that much damage to the A-rank demon, didn't they?"
