Chapter twenty five: help us Heaven

Eugene's pov:

I held her hand, and leaned closer to her ear, "you just need to be my queen for the time being, until l have found my mate. You just don't have a choice here" . She looked at me eye to eye, "has anyone ever told you that you are so damn annoying" she said, "well, you just did" l said smugly . "Why me?, I mean, there a lot of girls out there who would be more than ready to be your queen" she said. Then l held her hand activated the spell and a bright light shone from my palm again. "You see this here?, Who ever it reasonates with, then that person is the perfect substitute" l said. "But there's no one better than the queen herself" she said . "I know, but l need to do this , before l found her. " I said, "think about it" l said and kissed her cheeks before leaving. l went to my study and found everyone in there. "Well, how did it go?" Angel said. I sighed, "she hasn't given me a reply yet, let's just hope she does". " Of course she will, is there any girl in the kingdom that wouldn't want to be the queen?" said my mother. "Actually, she made it really clear that she doesn't want the position" l said. And they were all shocked. "So what did you do? , I mean, what did you say you were going to give her in exchange?" Xavier asked. "I told her that if she agreed to my queen l will remove the mating curse on her after l have found my mate" l said. "And you think that that is going to make her agree?" asked Lucas. "I hope so, but l know that if there is one thing a female demon would do anything for, it would be to find her mate" l said. They all nodded their heads in agreement. "Still let me try to talk to her" said Angel. "Okay" l nodded. "I think we all should, remember we have until this month ends, and that is just ten days away" Sebastian said. "Okay" said everyone. I really don't know what l would have done without them. I'm really blessed to have them.

Heaven Alizah Dianne's pov:

I am really lost here. That bastard king knows that l would anything to get this damn mating curse off me, that was why he said all of that. 'why not let us do it, Heaven. This is the chance we've been waiting for" said my demon Adira. "Yes, this is our mate we are talking about. There isnt any other way anyway" said my vampire Venice. "But the king just wants to use her" said my spirit Flora. "He can only use us if we allow him to. Guys if there is a chance we could find our mate, then don't you think.. we should go for it" said my werewolf Delia. They all fell silent at that. Meaning they all agree, l sighed. If l agree to this, what will happen to my brothers. We promised each other that we would always be together. "Heaven, one day they would find their mates and have a family to care of. Would you be truly be happy for them when that time comes?" said my witch Irene. They all have a point. I guess l would have to agree to the contract, what could he do to me anyway. Just as Delia said, he can only do anything to me if l allow him to do so.

Just when l was about to stand up, l found Angel standing few metres away from me, "hey, l've been standing here for about ten minutes now, and didn't even notice me" she said. "I am sorry, l was just lost in thought" l said. "It's okay" she said as she sat near me. "Well, l would go staright to the point. We really need your help Heaven. My brother is going to be dethroned if he doesn't finds his mate before this month ends. But it isn't certain that he would find her before that. So please, l am begging you Heaven to you please help us with this" she begged. I sighed, "your highness, please don't beg me" . "My brother has already told me everything, he said you don't want the position. I really understand you. But want you to consider the option he gave you. He can help you" she said. I chuckled , " when?" . She fell silent.
