Illuminescent Giggling gecko

(AUTHOR COMMENT: So like, i just noticed that 2 people gave me power stones, i don't know what there used for and to be honest i never thought i would get any, so i just wanted to let those 2 know that y'all literally made me cry tears, i'm glad that y'all are enjoying my books, as a author having readers is definitely something i didn't think would happen so i'm glad that y'all liked my book enough to give me power stones, now on to today's chapter)

(Gecko pov)

My feet scuddles across the ground at my fastest speed manageable as gasps of air escaped my mouth from exhaustion. My eyes were wide in fear as I slid into a tiny whole at the bottom of a passing tree. my tail curled around my body as I shivered uncontrollably as the thoughts (I'm going to die, I'm going to die) filled my mind. The footsteps of the humans sounded as they got closer to my position and stopped around one hundred feet from where I was hiding. Suddenly a blast of wind blew into my face blowing me against the back of the hole.

Suddenly one of the humans yelled something as I got to my feet. "I found it, I found the variant, it's hiding here."

Fear took over my body as another gust of wind blew in my direction but this time it completely missed me. I started to calm down thinking that they must have spotted something else until I had noticed the tree I had been hiding in had been completed obliverated except for the small space in which I was hiding. My jaw opened up in shock at the shocking display of magic control.

My body froze as my instincts completely shut down as the realization that I was never going to be able to escape these humans flitted throughout my brain. There were four humans standing Infront of me. The one that seemed to be the leader was at the front of the group. He wore a smooth black shirt that must have been a size to small from the way it squeezed his well toned body. His legs were covered on some kind of black leather. that shined in the sunlight.

He had 2 swords strapped to his back and a small knife sheetfed right above his ankle. However for some reason or another the guy wasn't wearing any shoes. I'm not very good at describing a humans facial details but if I had to guess in human society his face would be around average. It wasn't very chiseled or anything. He had a plane face with a few barely noticeable scars.

The three lackeys behind him were in similar clothing. They each had a black vest and leather pants. The one on the right seemed to be a female. She was in a black cloak with a weird spiraling wind symbol on the left arm, this must be the magician. Her gaze wasn't very sharp but you could feel a kind of pressure resonating from her being that just screamed YOU ATTACK ME YOU DIE.

Even whenever standing Infront of me I was still hardly able to sense the presence of the one to the left. the guy didn't have any swords but the number of knifes on his body astounded me. I had already counted 46 befor I decided to stop. Not to mention there was a good chance he had even more hidden. Finally the fourth human was the most plain of them all.

No weapons, No armour, the only thing he had was a large round bag that looked like it would crush him at any second. The human in front let out a laugh making me turn towards him as he started walking up to me.

"Your going to make quite the the amount coins for us especially since your a night variant of the exceedingly rare Giggling gecko, you should be proud that humans like us even found a use for you you pathetic pest. With how you have been showing intelligence I wonder how much a noble family would pay to allow there child to have such a magnificent pet."

As the human got closer my survival Instincts kicked in as I opened my mouth and let out what could only be the most ferocious sound in history, A LOUD NOISE THAT COULD ONLY BE ONE THING, a giggle.

The humans looked at me for a second before they all started laughing. But they were unaware of the danger that one giggle would bring. Because that one little giggle was imbued with a type of searching magic that finds a species related to my own that would be willing to come save me and it was carrying a message, HELP.

(Yuki pov)

My eyes fluttered open as my mind started to wake up from it's sleep. A yawn escaped my mouth as I started to look around. It seemed I was in some kind of tunnel. Pink and red flowers covered the walls as light filtered in from multiple places in the roof. I felt something heavy on top of my leg as i looked down to find Kawaii's sons asleep with his head resting on my leg.

I put my hand on top of Kawaii's head as I started to stroke his ears. Kawaii subconsciously pushed his head against my palm as I started to pet him. Hus fur was don't and so so so fluffy. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Kawaii's two tails wag as he started to growl in pleasure from the head and body pets. As I looked back to Kawaii's head I could see his eyes open slightly as they squinted in pleasure.

I decided to test something real quick and moved my hand to the underside of Kawaii's leg where I started scratching. Kawaii's eyes closed as his leg started to shake from satisfaction. A laugh escaped my lips as I started going faster. Suddenly a ringing headache racked my head as my vision went hey wire. I was no longer the burrow but I some part of the forest.

Something grabbed my waste and threw my into a small metal cage as my body scrambled to it's feet on its own. Four humans were in front of me with each one wearing a crooked and evil smile. One of the humans had a long stick with a kind of blue and white light that made a very scary sound. The human holding the stick thrusted the stick forward and into my waste. My body once again moved on its own as it tried to get out of the way bur the humans lunge was to quick. A scream that was not my own came out of my mouth as my body shook in pain as my limbs flailed. Suddenly a voice that sounded like that of a female girl traveled into my head.

"HELP, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME"

my vision once again changed as I found myself back in my body. I looked around wide with fear in my eyes as my heart started to calm down. I closed my eyes and laid back letting out a sigh of relief. As I closed my eyes a message popped inside my head followed by a robotic voice
