Elle straightened her back, then slowly moved her head left and right. It was all to relieve stiffness in her upper body due to prolonged sitting in the same position. And she did it over and over again until the stiffness subsided. She also used the opportunity to take a short break from her work.
Presumably, it happened because of her busy weekend. It was like that she was not getting enough rest. It all occurred because of the appearance of some people she did not expect to visit her. She didn't anticipate Amy, Chiara, and Lucas to invade her day off. And the most embarrassing moment was Lucas' visit. She felt caught off guard by him.
But, fortunately, Lucas didn't prolong the matter, or yet did it? At least, in their casual chat in her dining room, not a single word about the painting and its related issues came out of his lips. In fact, she had prepared herself for endless comments about the incident from him.
