Those eyelids slowly opened, revealing the beautiful hazel beads behind them. The owner blinked slowly as her consciousness returned. Then she turned to the side, observing the digital clock on the nightstand close to her.
Two minutes to six. It was two minutes before the alarm went off at precisely six in the morning. One of Elle's hands reached out to turn off the reminder, though it hadn't rung yet.
It was always like that. Elle had a strange habit of waking up few minutes before her alarm went off. Sometimes, even a minute before it rang. She had to wake up feeling both annoyed and happy. She was annoyed that she should have had a few extra minutes of sleep before the time to wake up.
