Elle gently pushed the glass door in front of her. With firm steps, she entered the restaurant area, which was quite crowded. Her eyes wandered around the room as her feet swung toward a counter in one corner of the restaurant. From afar, she could see the whereabouts of Renata, one of her employees, there.
"Welcome to the restaurant, Elle," the woman greeted when they were close enough. Just a few more steps and Elle would be right there.
"Thank you, Renata," Elle replied as she arrived in front of her employee. The counter was the barrier between the two. "And hi everyone." Apparently, some of her other employees were also sitting behind the desk. Elle did not forget to greet them all.
