Chapter 3:The visit of the prince of Alvonnias.

I sat in my room being attended to by my maids.They were attending to the wound I had on my arm as I was thinking of who the visitors would be.No visitors would come into the palace without my consent because security was my priority and this?.... who were they that the king gave his consent without telling me. My thoughts were interpreted when I heard the maids whisper,"The princess wounds has healed with no scar left."I was not surprised since I was used to the fact that my wounds never needed serious medical attention,sometimes I would believe am not human but how can it be possible, both my parents are human and my sisters were as well so why was I like this. Very different from them all.

" I announce the presence of King David Anderson the third." I heard a guard announcing, meaning my father was coming to my quarters, but why, he had not yet recovered from the injuries I caused him, "princess,are you so busy?" he asked still standing by the door. "not really father, you can all leave at once," I ordered my maids out and gestured my father to sit beside me on the bed. "Any problem dad? I suppose you have not fully recovered, so what's so important,"

"Nothing much Alina, I just wanted to inform you that the prince of Alvonnias will be visiting accompanied by the general of the army. The reason for the visit I don't know but I guess it's important." He said the reason as if he had knew what I wanted to ask." okay, so, when should we expect them. "

" Probably around noon. " he said looking at his watch." I thought you said tomorrow! " " Well I also thought so but they have sent a message saying they are on their way here."

"so to mean they'll spend the night here."

"Yes. And the guest quarters have been prepared already, so I hope you will be present for lunch." He asked looking at me expecting a pleasing answer. "Don't worry about that, I can councell my plans for noon." He looked happy by my response and stood up to leave. "Okay princess I'll take my leave now." I nodded while smiling and called Hedy to accompany the king out.

The prince of Alvonnias, I've heard so much about him, about his enchanting beauty. It was said women would go crazy just by looking at him, he was also the crown prince of Alvonnias and was the only son of King George Paul of Alvonnias. I was actually eager to see him. Prince John Paul, the crown prince of Alvonnias.

(POV of prince John Paul)

I was riding my horse my men behind me including the general.I was going to the most powerful and wealthy kingdom governed by princesses, the most important thing I wanted to see was the last born princess of Argente. Alot has been said about her mostly the part of her not being a human,but they also said among all the princesses, she was the most beautiful and intelligent of all and she the had the most unique personality. I could see the great walls of the kingdom from afar and I must confess it was well protected,an enemy could clearly have a hard time crossing to the other side, the gates were opened and the citizens were free to leave and come in at will but the guards over their looked like they were checking something in order to go in. As our horses were approaching the gates, I could see the gates being closed and arrows were pointed at as from the top of the wall while guards who seemed to be in the army stood outside the gate swords at hand and shield in front of them. I must admit that if we were enemies we would have not succeeded in. When we arrived by the gates I alighted from my horse and moved forward to speak to them but I was stopped by a male deep and commanding voice " Stop there young man!" And a man who was dressed in black appeared before me from behind a small entrance by the gate. I could tell from his different dressing code that he was a superior or headed something big in the kingdom. "I come in peace," I said lifting up my hands above my head and dropping down my sword. "The king knows about my visit." I said politely looking at him. Suddenly the gates were opened, a bright light emerging from inside making it difficult to see the people inside the wall, immediately all the guards knelt down and their heads bowed down except for the young man who stopped me. Unlike the others, he only bowed but did not kneel. 'Who was this being given so much respect, was it the king who personally came to receive me from the enterence? No, no king would leave his palace to receive someone by the gates of the kingdom not even the palace. So it was not the king.' I said to myself struggling to see who it was since the light was too much. Suddenly, a female figure was approaching me, the noise I could hear from outside suddenly disappeared. Her walking style was as if she was in a beauty contest, I could clearly see her face now. She had a slim attractive face, pink lips that were very inviting, she had blue eyes and silver long hair which I could tell were very thick. Even though she wasn't smiling but her beauty was still visible. She also seemed to be very young. When she arrived outside the gates the man in black greeted, "My princess," he said head still bowed down and then she spoke, her voice was like she was a singing star but sounded very commanding and authoritative. "Hedy, have you found out who they are?" "Not really my princess, he was about telling who he was when the gates....." He did not finish his sentence when she cut him off. "Did I ask for an explanation." She asked now when looking at me. "Am sorry my princess, l haven't." After the man answered she walked to me and said more to herself than me. "So,, who do have here."I knew I was to answer that and extended my head for greetings while introducing myself." My name is prince John Paul, the crown prince of the Kingdom of Alvonnias, I come in peace. "She looked at me not greeting my hand and looked at my men behind me. I withdrew my hands knowing she wouldn't greet me and introduced my men "forgive my manners princess,these are my men. "She looked at me and said. "I also know they are. My father is expecting you in the palace so if you don't mind you are welcome to the great kingdom of Argente." " Thank you my princess " I hopped on my horse back and went in. She was still walking when a black horse came to her running. She touched its face and jumped on it and immediately Hedy was behind her and they began riding at the same pace as us. I did not even get to know her name but I confirmed that she is a bossy person. Soon after some time we were at the palace gates,we had passed many places before we arrived there and the kingdom was so systematically arranged,guards everywhere and it was clean and the citizens seemed to be very happy. Our horses stopped and we alighted, soon after they were taken by some men who seemed to be only taking care of the horses. The gates were open so we just went in without any questions I guess it's because we were with the princess I didn't even know the name. And finally I saw the king. He was smiling broadly looking at as and behind him were her daughters I counted them and noticed they were five, the one who received us by the gates was the sixth and she was the most beautiful of all with different creations. All the princesses had black long hair but she had silver, the others had either black or brown eyeballs but she had blue eyeballs making her unique and the most beautiful. By that I knew she was the last daughter I always heard about.
