Old And New
Emma's cell phone rang. She had just finished taking a shower. She walked over to her dressing table which was full of skin care products, and picked up her cell phone which was still vibrating.
"Levi?"
Emma muttered as she slid the lift button. After that, she turned on the phone's speaker before placing it back on the table.
"Yes, Levi?" Emma said.
"Emma Hilland," The man's voice called out to her.
Emma's brow furrowed. She chuckled. "Why did you call my full name all of a sudden? You're weird,"
Levi chuckled. "How are you?"
"How do I sound?" Emma asked as she rummaged through the wardrobe to get clothes.
"You sound cheerful. You seem happy lately," Levi replied.
Emma gave an annoyed laugh, "I can't believe you can't hear this desperate tone,"
Levi chuckled too. "I thought this lie could give you positive energy,"
