The children

It had been four weeks of the death parade with everyone being as quite as possible. I could tell the kids were getting restless even if my house had a lot space right now. The two children still couldn't run around free at this time. The men were getting pent up as well causing me to worry.

I had seen many times where men have lost their cool and they attacked the women in order to reduce their stress. I knew I could easily use fear to control them. But when using fear to control others you create the issue of alpha. I can't remember where I read it once before. There was a paper written about alpha males and the issues they face.

In this case taking a stand against men if any of them are good talkers they could easily use that to turn all of them against me. Without any show of strength other then my brain makes it seem like I am less of a ideal leader over time. Also I couldn't do some tribal thing and pee all over women... I mean I'm not R-kelly.

I guess I was so focused on talking to you I had not realized that someone was in my office. I turned around to see seth standing across my desk with a look of regret. I remained silent a bit confused on what was going on when he held out a small toy to me. It was a little rag doll covered in blood one that I had seen before.

I rushed out of my seat to find Mina crying over her daughter who was laying on the lawn. I had to give it to Mina she was quite as a mouse even with her daughter laying dead. Seth was standing at the door way as I slowly walked up closer. Little anna didn't have any visible bite marks making me feel a cold chill down my back.

It was one thing for a child to get bitten because that was indiscriminate. In this case though someone deliberately killed this little girl. Mina allowed me to look over her daughter as she held her little hand. I could tell she had been choked and stabbed repeatedly. This was more then a simple act of whim. This murder was so the attacker could get enjoyment out of this.

I looked around to see 4 of the males standing on the lawn. Seth was at the door, Mick was at the blind, Arnold was tending the garden and Matthew was by the water hose. I knew John was inside with his wife Kelly so I knew he wasn't able to act since they were prepping lunch. I pointed towards Arnold and Matthew silently as no one but Seth would notice. He walked over to Matthew and the two made their way to Arnold.

I looked at Amy who rushed out of the house finally hearing the news. She had a emergency bag with her but I simply shook my head before standing up. I got up to her whispering into her ear before heading inside with the other 3 guys.

We headed down into the lab when I looked at Seth and spoke. "Make sure no women come near here and do me a favor. keep an eye on the children... They mean a lot more then you know. Without them we have no future." I said to him as the other two headed into the lab before me. After I entered the lab the door closed with a hiss and knock of the lock getting into place.

"I think its time we talk about what just happened" I said to Arnold and Mick.

I had quickly cleared Seth because even if he wanted to do something like this. There was always someone around him cause everyone looks up to him having him been a soldier. If he did something like this he knew there would be an issue. While I was the brains people looked at him to as the brawn.

I knew Matthew was social worker so I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt simply cause he used to work with kids. But having them both in here meant I could break both at the same time. My only worry was if I broke the wrong one at the same time too far to repair it.

"you guys know why we are here right? I mean anyone with a sense of intelligence would know looking at the unfolding scene. First we have a little girl who while was annoying is now dead. Then we have a sloppy clean up mess of stabbing the small child repeatedly. Look I am more offended by the fact someone ruined the chance of a child growing into a young woman. I mean five or so years and she would have been a looker. I mean check out Mina I mean that lady god if she was younger." As I said this I can feel that disgusted face you have right now. I am only trying to get a raise out of them.

"trust me guys I get it Amy won't put out for me even though I saved her life. Your working so hard and none of these women are willing to take care of your needs. So you turned to the child but she nearly screamed so you had to choke her. But if the choking looked like it killed her it would be a measure of hands find out who did it. So you stabbed her... you drove your knife into her over and over like you wished your cock could. But it all ended to quickly she stopped squirming you lost your nerve... Can't get it up without a little screaming can ya?" I said admittedly trying not to puke as I heard my own words.

I was about to speak but the slamming of the fists caught my attention. "Stop talking about her like that... She was a child... She didn't deserve what happened to her." Said Arnold who was shaking with rage. "she played every day by herself just so she wouldn't be a bother. she dealt with the bullies and not to mention she had nightmares."

Matthew was taken back before clearing his throat to speak. "I don't get why we are doing this... I mean you aren't even a sheriff or anything. Why not just bring seth in here and have him deal with this?"

I admit I had kinda expected something similar to this I mean we just talked about it. I gauged Matthews eyes when I shrugged a moment. "So that's what its going to be huh? You guys notice something that no one else did? With how bloody Anna's body was there was something missing still. You see when I walked over to her I noticed she had nearly no blood left in her system. Which means she bleed out some where else. If only we knew where." I said standing up to walk towards the door.

Seth heard me knock twice before opening the door to walk in. "Seth from what you saw outside and everything without waiting to hear their opinion who would you have blames." I asked him this directly looking him in the eyes hoping he could read my thoughts. Much like you can only kinda a bit more important.

"If I honestly didn't have time to choose I would kill them both. It would take a true idiot to not have noticed something funny if they were working in the same general area. I assume the unsub who acted out the crime was not professional by any means. But will have threatened the other but a true man would not simply let things stand as they are." said Seth with strong confident eyes that what he said was truly what was needed.

I turned back to them slowly taking my seat before speaking again. "So tell me do you want him or me in charge. Because Mina will come out of her woes at one point. If I was Seth I would want this fixed before that issue came to a boil. But here we are trying to make the issue with words rather then bullets." I said before leaning in resting my chin on my knuckles.

Matthew was about to speak when Arnold reached to grab Matthew. "How could you do that too her. She was innocent... She was beautiful little girl. Oh how I wanted her... I would have loved her but she was just far to young." He said grabbing onto matthew's neck. My hand smacked Arnold's away before sighing.

"God your an idiot... He didn't kill her. If Matthew had killed her, he would have tracked blood around with him as he went to clean off. The blood trail he left was from the fence where he killed a small animal trying to get to the garden." I told Arnold before pointing my hand towards him. "You on the other hand was with her daily in the garden. Since the whole parade began you have been around her constantly that your desires were building. But Anna was only 12 yet she was more focused on Matthew. She even confided with you how she thought of him. You acted sweet but you just had to kill her because it was the only way she would look at you right? Even in fear they will look right?" I said keeping my eyes on him as he looked shocked.

"That's not true... I... I.... I saved her... she wanted to get away from all of this... She wanted to be free from the moans the groans the sounds that drive us all insane. The fear that one day those monsters would get in here and kill us all. Don't you get it these children won't ever understand what it means to have normal lives. At least by killing her she got to die by someone who truly loved her rather then by a monster." Arnold snapped out getting up from his chair. He was about to act when I stepped up and hit him in the face with the butt of my gun.

He fell back in shock as my barrel rested right over his eye. "Shut your mouth because if you manage to push me away Seth will blow your fucking guts out the back of the seat. Now to deal with you... If I let you free I would be held responsible for what ever poor soul goes to deal with you. So I am going to give you a gun and a bag of food." I said walking over to the lockers. We set emergency supplies in them in case it was ever needed.

I tossed the bag in his lap before waving for the others to move. "Lets send him out the gate and may the fate be his answer." I said before leading them out of the lab.

We all headed towards the gate with Arnold in tow who was to say the least struggling a bit. I went up to the blind looking out the binoculars before beeping twice on the radio. This signal meant clear so the gate opened up before pushing Arnold through.

As Arnold started to take off running I grabbed the bow resting on the wall. I grabbed the arrow and pulled it back on the string aiming out the window. When I released the arrow all who could see watched as it flew at the unsuspecting Arnold.
