Looking at my Defying Points, my mood soured again as my hard-earned Defying Points had now vanished, like a puff of smoke.

It had all been used up to conceal my Elf Bloodline. After all, I couldn't just say,

"Yo. You see, I 'coincidentally' went to the Graveyard of Witches and 'coincidentally' passed the trial set up by the Third Hero and 'coincidentally' absorbed her body and 'coincidentally' obtained Level 5 in the Elf Bloodline."

No, I couldn't say something like that.

After some thought and consulting the system, it created this unique skill;

Yeah, my current goal was to collect Defying Points and upgrade this unique skill as much as I could, or else I was doomed. But even then, I didn't regret absorbing the Third Hero's body. After all, my talent had just been upgraded significantly, and I probably had a very high affinity with all elements, and most importantly, I had become more handsome.

By 'go with the flow,' he meant going to the academy.

A day had passed since Sameal had returned to the dorm provided by the academy. He had missed the Welcome Ceremony for newcomers.

The Welcome Ceremony was a very important event that all newcomers were required to attend, but Sameal hadn't.

Today was January 2nd, and the academy was going to start tomorrow, January 3rd.

"Let's get some sleep," Sameal said as he yawned, then threw himself onto the king-sized bed as he drifted into sleep.

In a dark room where nothing could be observed, suddenly, a pair of beautiful golden eyes appeared, staring at the broken glowing orb with a cold and emotionless gaze.

"Hmmmm. Someone has inherited the legacy of the Third Hero. I have to quickly search every place on the continent where it could be. Where should I start?"

The voice was sweet and almost addictive, that of a woman. Her tone showed slight surprise and disappointment, nothing more.

Now, she had to search all over the continent because the Third Hero, or the Analytic Witch, had never revealed where her legacy was, only telling her descendants that it was within the Witch Continent.

The eyes squinted a little, as if trying to see far away. After a second, her eyes returned to normal as she said,

"Graveyard of Witches... Let's begin from there."
