Asper's heart sunk when he heard those words.
"What did you just say?" He asked. His hair covering his eyes, hiding his expression.
"Oh… I said Alice might be alive…"

Year 2109 May 31st. City Of Zalpha.
It was a rainy day. The sound of the drops of water, clashing against the rain, filled the shed as Asper was engrossed in his book.
It was a story about a fallen hero who had to travel through time over and over in order to save the one he loved. Asper had read the book more times than he could count, and that was a rather high number for someone who had taught himself.
He wasn't completely into the story, the protagonist was stupid and always put his life at risk. The princess would continuously be killed by fate. The society which they lived in was cruel and selfish.
