"Wha- H-How?" He saw the explosion as it hit the Gedo Mazo, he knew that it should have obliterated the area that he was looking at right now

"Oh, this? just a neat trick I stole from someone" Noticing the cause of his confusion, Rimuru explained but actually didn't explain anything

"... why... are you here?" Nagato asked

"Wow, not even going to ask how I am? or how I was not blown to pieces... or how I know you, Nagato, since you never showed yourself to me?"

"Those... questions doesn't matter

I am going to die anyway..."

Rimuru ripped Nagato's remaining Rinnegan from his eye socket, but he didn't even whimper, not even feeling the pain

'Is this how it's going to end?' He asked himself, but

A warm feeling spread through Nagato's whole body, and after 5 or so seconds, he opened his eyes

Immediately after opening his eyes, he put his hands in front of them, shocked

"Here" Using [Hephaestus] Rimuru created a small mirror and gave it to Nagato

Nagato took the mirror, and what he saw on it shocked him

Bright red hair, that should have been ghostly white by now

his face was like any normal person, instead of the shivered up Hiruzen look he had before

his missing eyes got replaced by a pair of Onyx eyes (Yes, I searched for it, but Nagato was never shown without the Rinnegan, but his parents both had dark eyes, so that's it)

He kept looking at his reflection for a while, but after the shock was gone, he simply dropped down on the ground again

"Oy, does breathing tire? why are you down again?" Rimuru asked, annoyed

he had to first watch the shocked Nagato look at the mirror in a daze for who knows how long, just for him to drop 'dead' the very next second? what kind of bullshit is that?

"Why do you care?" Nagato asked in an aggressive tone

"seesh, why so salty? I just ripped your eye out, nothing much..." Rimuru commented making Nagato glare at him

"What you ripped from me wasn't my eye, it was my dream" Nagato said, still glaring

"Oh, sure, and if I didn't heal you, how did you plan on achieving that dream being DEAD?"

Rimuru said, emphasizing the dead part

And to that, Nagato remained silent

"Like I thought

But seriously dude... your dream... you know it wasn't feasible, right?" Rimuru asked

"Not feasible? what do you mean?" Nagato asked while frowning

"Let me tell you what made your plan impossible

asides from Obito, who you called Madara, manipulation..."

Nagato's face twitched as he heard Madara's name

"... Your plan was to create an ultra duper super powerful weapon, make a little mess and make people understand each other through pain, right?" Rimuru asked

Albeit he was surprised that Rimuru knew his whole plan, he ignored that for now

As Rimuru concluded, Nagato's eyes were wide open, never had him thought about this

He always believed in his objective, always followed Yahiko's dream... always...

'Did I really?' He began to question himself, but before he could dwell too long on his own mind, Rimuru called him out

He looked at Rimuru, again a bit shocked that he knew his full name

and then showing that someone else had these eyes, proving once and for all, he wasn't Rikudo reincarnated or that stupidity he believed in before

But, Rimuru continued, and concluded
