Cyrene Kingdom Part 6
--The Cyrene Kingdom, The Capital City, The Castle--
After the bath had been prepared, the maid had awoken Katherine up. "Your bath has been made, milady," the maid said as she turned to leave the room.
"Thank you," Katherine murmured to the maid as she left the room. Katherine was still mentally exhausted and physically drained but she was no longer in pain.
Katherine slowly got up from the bed and used the furniture around her to help her get to the bathroom. She felt very lightheaded and dizzy due to the amount of blood that she had lost.
She carefully undressed and stepped into the bath, she was covered in dried blood. As Katherine scrubbed her body clean, she placed her hands on her torso where the energy blast had hit her and she flinched slightly.
Though she was still healing from the blood Lucian had given her and wasn't in pain, the area felt very sensitive.
