Chapter 115: Poor Annie Loses Control Again

As Monica Bellucci thought about this, she quickened her pace, arriving at the hotel entrance and getting into the silver Angel, a car Vincent Cassel could never afford in his life. The car had been waiting for her, and it took her to the place Wayne had rented for her.

The location? Right across from the villa where Annie was staying.

Coincidentally, Annie didn't have to go to the set of *The Dark Side* today, nor did she have any acting classes. She was alone in the gym on the first floor, doing yoga, when she noticed the familiar silver Angel parked across the street. Before she could feel excited, thinking Wayne had come to see her, she saw Monica Bellucci step out of the car, dragging her suitcase into the villa across the street.

"???"

"WTF!"

"Is this the bitch who hooked up with Wayne a few days ago?!"

Annie was on the verge of losing it.

There had been so many people at that party a few days ago, and Wayne was one of the main attractions, so news of Monica Bellucci flirting with him spread quickly in their circle—gossip travels fast among women.

At any other time, she might have let it go, but Wayne had hinted he might come see her soon.

Though it was just a 'might,' she felt like she'd been stood up.

She couldn't blame Wayne, so her frustration was directed at Monica Bellucci.

What she didn't expect was that Monica Bellucci would move into the villa across the street, or that Monica's figure would be that good.

Suddenly, Annie felt the pressure building again.

If you add Charlize Theron, Martina Garcia, and the stunning Jessica Alba to the mix, Wayne had four women whose beauty, figure, and charm rivaled hers.

"No way, I need to be more proactive!"

With this thought, Annie quickly grabbed her phone, which was next to her yoga mat, and eagerly called Wayne.

Unfortunately, Wayne was busy comforting Hannah and Jessica in his own way. He didn't have time for her and casually reassured her, promising to visit in a few days before quickly hanging up.

This left Annie feeling disheartened. Looking at herself in the mirror, she started to lose confidence in her appearance and figure again.

One hour later, by the pool.

"Was it that little bitch Anne Hathaway again?" 

Hannah, having just finished a luxurious meal, was massaging Wayne using the techniques she had just learned over the past few days.

Meanwhile, Jessica, as gentle as a lamb, was peeling fresh grapes for Wayne.

"Yeah, I haven't gone to see her since I got back, and she's probably frustrated from a few unsuccessful auditions," Wayne replied.

Hannah's face flashed with disdain, and she sneered, "That shameless little bitch, aiming too high. For someone her age, she's already got great opportunities and still isn't satisfied."

Wayne chuckled, "That's Hollywood, isn't it?"

"So what's your plan? Are you going to give her a role in *Taken*?" Hannah asked.

"No, I already have someone lined up for the lead female roles in *Taken*," Wayne replied.

In *Taken*, the lead female roles are the protagonist's daughter and wife. As it's a male-dominated action film, their screen time isn't significant. He planned to give the wife's role to Monica Bellucci and was torn between Martina Garcia and Scarlett Johansson for the daughter's role.

That's right, even though he'd only met Scarlett once at that party and hadn't seen her since, over the past two months, she had been texting and calling him, just like Megan and Elizabeth Olsen.

The difference was that Scarlett was now seventeen.

A flower ready to be picked.

If he hadn't met Monica Bellucci at the party, Scarlett might have already been his by now.

"Besides *Taken*, I'm planning to shoot a high school comedy with a female lead, and I'll give her a role in that," Wayne said.

The comedy he mentioned was *Mean Girls*, a movie that, in his past life in 2004, had grossed $120 million globally on a budget of $17 million, though in reality, the cost was probably less than $6 million.

The movie's plot revolves around Cady Heron, a 15-year-old girl who had grown up in Africa with her zoologist parents and returned to the U.S. to attend high school. She believed her survival skills, developed in harsh conditions, would make her stronger than the pampered girls who had grown up in the city. But when she entered school, she discovered that human relationships were far more complicated and terrifying than those between animals in the wild.

During her adjustment and struggle to fit into her new environment, she caused quite a few amusing mishaps.

The movie required five young, beautiful actresses, and Wayne planned to cast Anne, Megan, Scarlett, and Martina in those roles. Adding Amanda Seyfried, who had a breakout performance in a supporting role, this would be an all-star lineup of beauty.

"And what about you and Jessie?" Hannah asked curiously after hearing all this.

"Come on, we just wrapped up shooting two months ago! I'm planning to take a break for at least two months first," Wayne rolled his eyes.

Of course, he already had plans for his next movie with Jessica.

One option was *The Notebook*, released in 2004, starring then-unknown Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The film had grossed $118 million globally on a budget of less than $10 million.

The other was *La La Land*, released in 2016, which grossed $449 million on a $30 million budget and won multiple awards, including Oscars for Best Director, Best Actress, and several Golden Globe Awards.

Both films starred Ryan Gosling.

Poor Ryan would be out of luck with Wayne grabbing all the roles.

Rachel McAdams, who also starred as a supporting actress in *Mean Girls*, had risen to fame thanks to these two films' success. Without these roles, her future was uncertain.
