His companion replied, "Such elves, once they appear, are taken away by the Royal Family, taught for a few years, and then sent to guard towns. How could they possibly come out and compete with humans over the control of plants?"

"If only elves could turn into warlocks too. There aren't even any villages left now, they've almost all disappeared."

"The Cticatluti Priest has already sent a message back. Our main task is to watch him and prevent the humans from hiding him away."

"Humans don't understand these things and really don't care about nature's fury. Such an important Nature Warlock living alone in such a remote place and he doesn't even have any protective army."

So among the elves, those who can summon Treants are already so few that they need to be protected by an army?
