"Done? Are you kidding me, child?" the manager chuckled. He's filled with disbelief because even with his experience and strength, he still needs around four hours to finish tilling the field.
From Qin Lan's skinny arms and legs, he doesn't look like someone with experience in tending the field at all.
'Maybe he's just hungry and wanted to get a meal earlier... I should be lenient to him as this was his first time.' the manager thought. He remembered that when he first comes to the farm to help, he behaves similarly to Qin Lan.
For the sake of having a meal earlier, he would skip a few parts here and there just to make things done faster. But only after becoming a manager that he knew these tricks were nothing new. Almost everyone here did this once in their life before.
"Come and grab something to eat first. I'll be checking the field later to make sure it's done correctly." said the manager.
