Chapter 26: 1st NBA game and Harlem's thieves

This pizza was one of the best I had ever eaten so far, if I had to give a score to the restaurant Alicia chose it would be 9/10 the only reason I didn't give full points was that the place was a little cramped but the service was fast and impeccable, the waitress was kind and polite and the most important thing the food was good we left the restaurant with our belly full since we still had a little bit more time before we drive to state island I suggest to Alicia that we should take a walk in the neighborhood before leaving we need to digest our pizza a little because I don't want to feel bloated while driving for an hour since in new york you never know when a traffic jam might occur better be safe than sorry

After walking around a bit more and feeling the pulse of Harlem we made our way back toward my car. Harlem was vibrant with life jazz musicians were everywhere you could spot one every two streets even at this time of the day we could see people already starting to enter the clubs and bars around the area after walking for almost an hour we were about to reach my car when I spotted 2 guys hanging around my car seeing their body language they clearly were up to no good when Alicia spotted these two she tensed up and squeeze my hand hard I didn't know she had this kind of grip if I didn't use to train and if I didn't have my skill steady hand I probably would feel pain right now I let out a sight than said in a very serious tone 

-Stay behind me and no matter what happens don't panic are we clear?

-Humm acknowledges Alicia with a sound while nodding her head like a chicken pecking rice

Walking toward my car I could feel my blood pumping with every step I took, the closer I was to those two guys the more adrenaline I could feel going through my system I knew I was quickly triggered when it came to the things I love or the people I love so feeling the blood rushing to my head didn't surprise me, no what surprised me was how calm I was despite the situation one of the guys was leaning on the driver door good tactic if you ask me no chance to get into the car without confronting him his friend was standing 1 meter in front of him but with his body turn so as to keep an eye both on the road and my car analyzing the situation quickly I suddenly had a second thought about this not that I was scared or anything but Alicia was with me and accident can happen at any time but we were so close now and with how we reacted earlier they knew we were the owners of the car they were having their eyes on, taking one last step I stop 2 meters away from them looking at them codly i spoke

-Get away from my car 

-Look what we have here Dustin a white knight trying to look cool before his girlfriend

-Hehehe well maybe we can play with the girl after taking care of this wannabe albino Knight said the other guys looking at Alicia with lust-filled eyes while his left hand was slowly moving toward his back before the both of them burst out laughing 

They just had to say something cliche like this, maybe if they didn't speak or look at my girlfriend like that I would have simply knocked them out without going too far but now (hehe) 

-Alicia! Turn around, call the police and 2 ambulances this won't be pretty, I said

Before they could react to what I just said I was already in the face of the guy who wanted to do something to Alicia and with all the power I could muster kicked the kneecap of his right leg with a front kick with how quick my thinking was I had long noticed he was putting more weight on his right leg than the left one the consequence of my kick was a Hyperextended Knee Injury but with his shinbone coming out from the other side I was so fast that he didn't even have the time to scream that I was already grabbing his head in my hands and leaping upward for my knee to met his chin 4 seconds in and he was already knocked out cold when he touched the ground I could hear the sound of something metallic hitting the ground (good thing I took him out first pretty sure he has a gun) I thought turning my body to face the punk that was still leaning on my car maybe seeing his friend being taken out this quickly fried the rest of his brain because it took him at least 5 seconds to look at me i could have finish him off right here and then but i dont want blood on my car so i was waiting for him to charge at me

-Taking a guy by surprise like this you're not a knight but a rat but you won't be lucky twice fucker, you're dead meat Cinderella screamed the little ant in front of me

He took out a knife about 20 centimeters before he lunged at me, Alicia must have turned back again to look at me or she never did in any case because when this guy jumped at me I heard her scream

Even if I wanted to play a little longer with this guy than his friend hearing Alicia's concerned scream made me act otherwise I couldn't let her agonize over this fight anymore. Worrying your girlfriend isn't really manly in my books so when the knife came toward me I took a sidestep to the left to dodge then chopped his wrist holding the knife with a powerful karate chop after disarming him with the same hand I used to disarm him I grab his arm, I did a 180 so that he was now facing my back and start a judo shoulder throw I didn't know if I was really strong or if this guy had done so many drugs that he was only skin and bone but when I lifted him up in the air to finish my technique I felt I was putting my towel on my shoulder after a hot shower, midway through my move when he was still halfway in the air I heard a bone cracking in his forearm maybe I put to much strength in my grip or in my throw, either way, he will have to learn how to jerk himself off with the other hand now 

Landing on the ground made him lose his breath I didn't wait for him to recover before sending a punch right between the eyebrow taking him out for good without waiting I walked toward the first guy I had knocked out. I took my pocket square out before turning his body sideways lifting his shirt up and taking the gun he had tucked in his pants with my pocket square so as to not leave any fingerprint on it after putting the gun on top of the car roof. Before I could look at Alicia making sure she was shaken by what happened, the sound of someone kicking another person entered my ears, Alicia was kicking the guy with a knife in the nuts ... repeatedly

-YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE TRYING TO STAB MY MEN ILL FUCKING BUST YOUR NUTS SO THAT ANOTHER SCUM LIKE YOU WON'T EVER SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY 

I hurriedly grabbed her from behind and walked away from him, the poor guy I thought feeling his pain even if he deserved it I don't want Alicia to have any problem so I had to stop her and try to calm her down I knew she got scared but nothing happens to me it's not worth getting in troubles over Piece of Shit like them

-Love I'm alright I do not have a scratch the last 3 kicks were enough if you continue more than this the doctors will have to start looking for his ball all the way up to his stomach

Realizing what she had done she turned around to hug me tightly and began crying in my arms I didn't know what to say to calm her down so I just held her close while my right hand was going through her hair in an attempt to soothe her nerves 5 minutes later I was finally able to calm her enough so that she stopped crying but she was still clinging to me like a koala to an eucalyptus tree 

It took another 15 minutes before the police showed up, all this while Alicia didn't leave my side she was gripping my arm so tightly that even with all the muscle I had built up since young I wasn't feeling my arm anymore after the NYPD took my statement before asking me to sign it, of course, having a lawyer as an Uncle I knew I needed to read it to make sure the policeman didn't misinterpret anything that I said or wrote them in his own word if this case goes to court this could very well be the kind of error that would set a criminal free 

While Alicia was making her own statement I had to call Derrick because we would for sure be late to pick them up I pulled my phone from my inner pocket and looked through my short contact list searching for Derrick's contact details( ring ring ring)

-HEY wassup bro! Are you guys calling to say you'll be here soon? I'm ready for tonight I'm fucking hype that's gonna be epic man

-Sigh unfortunately no we didn't even leave yet I was calling to tell you guys that we will be late... sorry

-WHAT! Did something happen why are you guys not on the road yet?

-Just two drug addicts who tried to steal my car or the money I had on me I didn't let them tell me what they wanted but we had to wait for the police they are taking your sister's statement now, as soon as she is done we will leave so we won't miss the game but we will miss pre-game warm-up 

-Fuck you both are fine right they didn't touch Alicia, right?

-HUUMMPHH as if I'd let them! who do you take me for? Oh, she's done with the policeman do you want to talk to her would that reassure you?

-Yes let me talk to her!

-Dont hang up I'll give the phone to her when we leave this place

Alicia P.O.V

Today was one of the best days of my life from waking up with a sweet note from Ace shopping with this man was exhausting mentally but fun nonetheless then we got to eat in one of the restaurants I had never had the chance to go to before but the day took a turn for the worst when we got back to Ace car waiting were two thugs clearly waiting for the owner of the car to steal him his car or his money in this case ''Ace'' money and car I knew he could defend himself since he had told me he trains in martial arts since he was young but people here don't fight fair guns and knife are pretty common in the U.S but when one of the guys threaten to do something to me I could feel the cold coming from him is aura change in an instant if before his aura was feeling like a steady mountain but after this man comments it was more like a cold steel sword out of his sheath I could feel the danger coming from him but I was not scared one bit I just felt safe and strangely a little excited when he made his moves against the first of these two idiot I almost wet myself but fear took over when I saw the second one pulling out a knife

When Ace put him down I was so relieved and also angry really really angry I don't know what took over me but when I came back to my sense I was in Ace's arms it took me several minutes to stop crying I'm relieved that Ace didn't say anything about me kicking the shit out off this drug addict to the police getting back into the car Ace gave me his phone telling me my brother was on the line before starting to drive to my home 

-Hi bro what do you want?

-What do you mean what do I want are you alright? 

-Oh so Ace told you.

-Of course, he told me I'm your brother for god sake if he had hidden something like this from us and Mom learned about it she would have burned him alive

-Hmmm you're right don't tell Mom yet I'll do it myself later tonight and yes I am alright Ace didn't let them come close to me but I was scared for him that's all anyway I'll hang up now see you soon bro
