Chapter 38

Beta looked over the ridge at the group of 3 speeders approaching his position. These scouts had been hunting him for weeks, trying to find out his base so that they could report it back to the main group.

Before they could reach him, 6 Kusaks appeared on each side of them before jumping up and knocking the mercenaries off their speeders. The 12 dogs began to maul the individuals to death, letting their screams terrify anyone who was listening over comms.

After having devastated several storage houses and armories as well as killing a few dozen members of their group, the Solar Constellations were a bit pissed off at Beta. But no matter what they did, they had yet to stop him. Even after they sent 10 of their most experienced members after him, their leader woke up the next day with the heads of those elite members on spikes in their bedroom.

With that threat putting fear into their heart, they no longer dared to play around. Beta was considered the primary threat of their group, even greater than Yautja who were declared the rulers of the planet and the Black Sun who were backing them from the shadows. The person they feared more than either of those powerful forces was Beta.

--- Unknown Location ---

"So you're saying that a creature over 3 meters tall is terrorizing the southern hemisphere of Lok, only going after the Solar Constellation group?" Ac asked from his seat

"Yes, Sir. We tried to determine if it was a member of Yautja but from the reports, it looks nothing like anything we have seen before," the subordinate reported back

"Of course, we haven't. Jial wouldn't make a mistake like that," Ac spoke his true thoughts to all the members before him. He knew that Beta was someone that Jial had either created or hired to attack the other group. Even if he had no proof, his gut was telling him that it was so.

"What are we gonna do about it?" someone asked

"We have a member of the Seyugi Dervish frozen, right? Release him and send him to Lok. His targets are the two girls under Jial," Ac ordered coldly. "Although we can't afford to lose Jial, we need to teach him a lesson for trying to attack our interests."

The others were surprised that Ac was willing to unfreeze a member of the Seyugi Dervish. They were a group of Dark Siders that once terrorized the Galaxy. Unlike Sith who sought after intangible things such as power, these guys only wanted wealth. They were known as some of the best assassins to ever exist. They killed anyone using their Force Powers and bare hands. They were also experts on the biology of various species, knowing how to kill any type of creature with the least amount of effort.

And it was because they were so dangerous that the Jedi had hunted them down until they were thought to be exterminated. In truth, the Seyugi Dervish went into hiding, freezing themselves in carbonite to be extracted at a later date. And these frozen members were treated as collectibles in the underworld with the Black Sun and Hutts having the most members in their collections.

For Ac to unleash his own member at the Yautja was a major price. Even if the assassin survived, it would be hunted down by the Jedi. And the others knew that those chances were slim.

Word had already spread around the Galaxy. Jial was a Force-sensitive. He had 3 Mandalorians under his employ. He had an army of droids. And he had two students that managed to stay undefeated on Vespaara for half a year.

Even if he did not have the power to fight against an organization the size of the Republic or Hutts, the Yautja was now a power in the wider Galaxy.

Soon, a slab of carbonite was brought before Ac. A figure could be seen within it but was not clear what its facial features were or even its gender.

One of the Black Sun members pressed a button on the side of the slab to unfreeze the creature within it. When the carbonite was gone, it revealed a person wearing all red clothes and a white mask.

"You have saved me. I owe you one assignment. Who do you need dead?" the figure asked. Their voice was warped, not allowing anyone to guess their gender.

"Two wolfgirls on Lok. They are both Force-sensitive. An older Force-sensitive, three Mandalorians, and a bunch of droids are there as well. Will that be an issue?" Ac asked

"None at all. Just give me a ship," the Seyugi Dervish told him

--- Lok ---

Nott and Hash were currently out on a survival exercise. Boxe had sent them out to hunt a group of Kimogila that was spotted near Wyne's border.

Kimogila were considered to be the rivals of the Krayt Dragons of Tatooine. Both were similar in size but the Kimogila was considered more dangerous by most, with the exception of some fools. While Krayt Dragons were more famous due to their ability to produce pearls from the minerals they ate and the amount of travel that Tatooine received, the Kimogila were far more dangerous.

Due to the nature of Lok with the sulfur pools and volcanoes, the Kimogila had much more durable skin that could resist most personal defense blasters. They also had a far deadlier venom than the Krayt Dragons as well. But most importantly, they always traveled in packs. While one could hunt a lone Krayt Dragon, Kimogilas were only found alone when the rest of their pack was dead. Otherwise, they were usually in packs of 2-3.

Nott and Hash were sitting inside a small cave around a small fire. The entrance was very narrow which prevented many of the larger creatures that inhabited Lok from entering but the deeper one went, the larger the cave was.

Nott was wearing the Crusader armor that they had gotten from Demagol. Thanks to her new body, she was now able to wear the armor without trouble, though she did have to get it refit for her size. She had also gotten a plasma caster and wrist gauntlet from Jial that she could add to her arsenal.

While Nott was wearing the Mandalorian armor, Hash was wearing some grey pants with a matching shirt, along with a black and red cloak. Jial had let her keep the Cloak of Hatred that she had gotten from the rewards. This Sith Artifact increased her physical abilities and Force Powers.

Both sisters were wearing armor and clothes that others would kill for but they received easily thanks to their Master.

"So..." Hash started while looking at the small lizard they were cooking over the fire. "When are you gonna tell Master that you wanna join Clan Spar?"

Nott shot her sister an irritated look before falling back on the floor and staring up at the roof of the cave.

"No idea. I don't want him to think that I am gonna abandon him after all he had done for us," Nott felt conflicted. She wanted to join Clan Spar since she believed in the ways of the Mandalorians but she couldn't just say that after everything Jial had done. She still wanted to be his student but she also wanted to be a Mandalorian.

"Do you really think Master will care?" the older sister chided. "He forgave you after you shut down one of the factories for a month with one of your fights with 47. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with saying you are adopting their religion."

"Shut up!" Nott yelled, remembering how she had accidentally damaged the factory after HK-47 picked a fight with her during her patrol on the factory. The duo ended up not only destroying a few assembly lines but also some of the pillars holding the factory up. They had do some harsh punishment but nothing as severe as what Nott was expecting

While the two sisters talked about how to bring the matter up to Jial, a figure covered in red robes appeared outside of the cave

"They should be inside of here. Let's make this quick," the Seyugi Dervish member said to themselves
