Chapter 73: The Phantom Menace Episode VIII
(3rd Person: POV)
As they moved through the hallways of the royal palace Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon could still not believe what they had just encountered.
A Sith.
The age old enemy of the Jedi.
Who were thought to have been vanquished entirely close to 1,000 years ago.
Yet neither master nor apprentice could deny the truth behind the enemy they had just met.
An enemy who Van was now facing alone.
"Master, we must return and help knight Sunrider. We cannot let him face that Sith alone." Obi-Wan spoke.
"Obi-Wan, calm yourself." Qui-Gon spoke. "I too am worried about knight Sunrider, but we must take care of the queens safety. For if she falls, then all of Naboo will be lost. Also, did you not sense knight Sunrider strength? I sense he will be more than a match for that Sith." Qui-Gon spoke. "Though you are right. Letting him face such an enemy alone is dangerous. So let us quickly capture the Vicetoy and then return to assist him in battle."
Obi-Wan nodded at his master's words.
The both of them being worried about Van.
Which he would appreciate.
Though soon the pair would learn they had no reason to be worried at all.

On the plains the battle was raging.
The droids not destroy in the air strike perfriemd by the Dominicus forces marched through the energy shields of the Gungan army.
But the moment they crossed the shields threshold Cohl, his fellow Dominicus members, and the Gungan's were ready for them.
While the Gungan's launched bombs at the droids using their cannons, Cohl and the other members of Dominicus tossed EMP grenades into the advancing droids.
The combined assault taking out numerous more droids.
"Yeah, take that clankers!" A Dominicus member shouted.
Using the term Van "created" to refer to the Trade Federation droids.
Soon it caught on and his allies in Dominicus started using it.
Finding they liked it.
Throwing another EMP grenade into a grouping a droids, Cohl then took out his sidearm, an A180 blaster, and started shooting the enemy in front of him with glee.
For me was enjoying himself quite a bit.

Pushing the thrusters of the Milano HK-47 accelerated the ship faster and faster, the vulture droids of the Trade Federation being unable to keep up with Vans' personal ships speed.
"Smug statement: Eat my afterburners you inferior droids." HK-47 spoke.
Coming round on three vulture droids.
Turning the Milano's 2 heavy laser cannons on them he pulled the trigger without any hesitation.
Feeling a sense of gratification in seeing the Vulture droids explode into fiery balls of scrap.
Once the enemies in front of him were destroyed HK-47 looked for more, and moved all across the battlefield, taking out any Trade Federation ships within the line of his photoreceptor's.
While he did this Anakin and Shimi waited together in the Milano's common room.
Along with R2-D2 and C-3PO.

As the Milano shook C-3PO couldn't help but voice his concerns.
"Do you think we'll be alright? What if that murderous droid gets us blown up? Oh, maybe we should go and assist him."
"No, he said there's no need and I trust him. He seems like a good bot." R2-D2 beeped in binary.
Meanwhile back in the Milano's cockpit HK-47 found the opening he needed.
Flying into the Lucrehulk's hangar bay HK-47 flew right towards its power reactor, and then launched photon torpedoes at it.
When they hit it started a chain reaction, leading to the destruction of the entire battleship.
Flying the Milano out of the hangar bay HK-47 kept his photorecptors locked on the mass carnage he had just caused.
Gaining enjoyment from fulfilling his primary programming.

Feeling worry in his gut as the sound of battle drew closer to the throne room Nute Gunray prepared to make his escape.
Only for the doors of the throne room to burst open and Padme, the security forces pesonnel accompanying her, and Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan enter and put a stop to his plans.
The droids protecting the Viceroy prepared to attack Padme's group, but before they could they shut down without warning.
"What? What is happening?" Gunray asked.
"We have won the day Viceroy, that is what is happening." Padme spoke.
Pointing her blaster pistol at Gunray.
While her security forces personnel secured Haako.
As for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan they stood guard.
"Now, let us discuss the terms of your surrender." The queen spoke to Gunray.
Enjoying the victory her people had achieved.

The droid control center having been blown up all across Naboo the droids shut down.
Leading to a glorious victory for Naboo.
While this was happening the battle between Maul and Van was reaching its own end.
