New Contact I

The scientists have deciphered the complex language of the gates after a month of research. This helped the scientists pinpoint exactly what gate to send them to. This would give them an insight to where they will be sending people.

So far, the science team has sent drones through the Stargate almost a thousand times. Some Drones were destroyed, or the connection was lost, but most of them were still active and were collecting data on the place that they were at, constantly reporting what they had found and discovered.

Some drones had reported other races on the planets that they were on. Many were different in appearance, but still had the same shape as a humanoid figure.

Back on Earth in the Star Gate universe, General Hammond was meeting with the President of the United States.

"General, what do you think about these Aliens?" Asked the President

"Sir, from the little time that I met them, they didn't seem hostile at all and were very cooperative with us. They also were very fluent in the English language and their armor looked very hard" Said General Hammond

"Hard you say, from your meeting with them could we have penetrated their armor" asked the President

"It's hard to say since I have only seen it but the way they walked and how it looked from a distance any sane person could see that normal bullets wouldn't be able to penetrate the armor, only advance weapons might be able to" Said General Hammond as he explained what he thought about the armor

"They should be sending diplomats soon, right as the other members of the security council are eager to meet them" Said the President

"Yes, they have communicated with us and have informed us they will meet with us next week. We have already prepared a meeting for you and the diplomats" Said General Hammond

"Good, looks like this meeting with Aliens went rather well than our other meeting" Said the President

"Yes it did, the men that died that day will always be remembered" Said General Hammond

General Hammond had talked a little more with The President about the Aliens and some other military matters concerning some outposts on other planets.

Back on Lantea the Colony was mostly done being built as some basic agricultural structures were built to be able to accommodate all the colonists.

The Wormhole gate was half way constructed and would soon be open to the Gate in the Star Wars Galaxy.

The Expedition fleet has begun exploring the nearby star Systems, looking for other viable planets or alien life. So far a planet had been found which was similar to Lantea only it had more land mass. It contained breathable air and Earth like atmosphere. This planet was New Lantea.

New Lantea doesn't have a Stargate on it's surface, so it should not contain any humanoid alien life.

Another planet that was mostly desert was found. It had a Stargate and breathable air, and It barely passed the Habitable planet mark.

The more they explore, the more the expedition fleet finds, and soon they will eventually encounter aliens.

A few days later, the diplomats from the Imperium had met with the president and discussed something's between the two. Some agreements were made and the Imperium and the United States will work closer together with the Star gates.

Some days after, a planet was found with alien life on it. This planet was Olesia.

Olesia was a planet in the Pegasus galaxy of beauty, long-void of threats of Wraith cullings. The planet possesses significant deposits of a volatile ore which the Olesian government hoped to trade to the people of Atlantis. The Stargate on the planet also possesses no Dial Home Device, preventing anyone from dialing out unless they possess a ship that has one, such as a Wraith Dart or a Puddle Jumper.

The people of Olesia were very welcoming to the Imperium and were glad to trade with them. The Olesians had the same appearance as humans, and John has learned that they have an agreement with a Wraith commander that in exchange for a ripe feeding ground, the Wraith would leave the main body of Olesians alone.

For endless generations this arrangement has allowed the culture a fruitful existence, expanding the foundations of technology, particularly in a mineral found on Olesia.

In recent years the government's policies on law enforcement has been a successful deterrent. Most crimes have been punishable by banishment to the island where the Stargate has been placed, meaning prisoners are the first and only source of food for Wraith cullings on the planet. Because of this, crime is now almost nonexistent, meaning the feeding ground will be sparse.

When this happens, the Olesian Magistrate has been forced to lower the bar on what is unlawful, time and again, to satisfy the hunger of the Wraith.

But the meeting with the Imperium could change that for the Olesians since John has been pushing for an official treaty with them allowing their prisoners to transfer elsewhere so that they won't be fed on by the Wraith.
