HOTD part 9: Day two.

The first rays of the sun shone over the city, bringing warmth and light. Ending the first night at the apocalypse.

The first night of terror ended with a terrible massacre against humanity. Citizens woke up with a sense of fear and disbelief, some of whom did not even want to wake up to face this reality.

However, this is the reality of this world now. A broken world crumbles with every second.

Some people lost their families and friends, and some even had to kill those close to them with their hands, pushing them step by step towards insanity.

People started attacking each other to get rid of all their stress and sadness or even trying to make others suffer the same way they suffered.

The government tried to explain the cause of the zombies by saying it was a deadly epidemic, but how can people listen to these empty conversations after all they have seen.

Crowds started to gather raising the theory of conspiracy against the government of Japan and America for all that is happening.

A bunch of conspiracy theorist who believes the epidemic is a biological weapon of the US and Japanese government started to protest in front of the bridge that is closed by the police.

The police tried to maintain the order in the best way they could but the situation is just getting worst, especially after they got order to do whatever they can to maintain order even killing if necessary.

Far away from the crowds and the bridge. Inside a simple apartment, Akashi was doing something he totally forgot about after he cleared the zombies in the house.

Something very important to any human being, but Akashi forgets about it because of all these events that happened and that thing is... eating.

"Thinking about it... I didn't eat for 9 days" Akashi said while coking some food by the ingredients he found in the house.

Akashi thought of himself using all his time in the training room that makes players don't feel hunger or fatigue, and all the events that happen during one day in this mission.

"I basically didn't even have time to eat because I was playing... a game" Akashi said while finishing his cooking.

Akashi put his food down and ate in silence while thinking about what he should do next.

<John and his team would probably be awake after Akio death and remember what their true mission.> Akashi though.

<After Takashi death they will probably find a way to take the remaining team towards Takagi mansion and prepare for the battle> Akashi while eating.

<They will try to use Saya Takagi father to assist them in the fight with some lies mixed in truth> Akashi though.

<The enemy team will probably split into two groups> Akashi though.

<one will go to the rest of the plot location and the other will go to Takagi mansion to prepare> Akashi thought.

<The leader will surely be at Takagi mansion or close by trying to kill the rest of the players> Akashi thought while looking at his game interface.

< After all, it can't be only me to get a mission of killing the opposite team> Akashi thought while finishing his food.

<These side tasks are probably working by the mechanisms of who will activate them first> Akashi thought.

<The leader surely ordered his team to kill the enemies or said he will attack them in his plans, so the game will give him the task> Akashi finished his food and stood up from the table.

"It seems I have to balance the field a little" Akashi said before he remembered something that happened earlier.

"That Akio... when he died he left a red chest. I remember getting one from that mask guy" Akashi said before taking a red chest from his space.

"It looks the same as the last chest except it color" Akashi said while moving towards a chair as he sat down.

Akashi put his hand on the chest top then a light screen appeared.

"So killing the world characters only gives points and evaluation while killing player drop loot... fix your game" Akashi said while looking at the chest.

"I hope I didn't use all my luck with arrow and D4C... hold on" Akashi said before summoning D4C head in his shoulder.

"D4C can you use Requiem to tell if this chest is connected to some sort of space?" Akashi said as D4C nodded.

"I see... can you tell me what will I get if I open it" Akashi said with hope, but D4C shook his head.

"So you can only tell if I will get something?" Akashi said as D4C nodded.

"Okay... the moment that an item appears in the space, give me a signal" Akashi put his hand on the box while waiting for D4C signal.

Akashi waited for a few seconds before D4C aura flicked. Opening the chest a red light flashed before Akashi.

"What is this?" Akashi saw a paper inside the chest as he frowned.

"Was that guy throwing his trash in the space" Akashi said before grabbing the paper.

"This..." Akashi saw the paper folded, so he opened it and saw a big map.

"Map?... no wait" Akashi noticed a few places were marked on the map and some locations with question marks.

"Marks... this is the school" Akashi saw the school marked on the map.

"And this circle around the area of the station" Akashi said before smiling.

"I should thank that guy after I meet him" Akashi said while looking at a circle.

" This location should be that doctor friend house... or at least the surrounding area" Akashi said.

"This makes the things easier... just have to look for a Humvee" Akashi said as he put the map in his space.

"It seems this going to be another crazy night" Akashi said while grabbing some things from his space and preparing.
