Temple of Deus II

Within the Valmora kimgdom, like most kingdoms, Nobles get first priority in almost everything.

The temple is the only exception, the temple is the one place where Nobles and commoners are treated equally, this is because the temple follows the three commandments of the absolute one.

As Igris walked through the crowd,his height and incredible physique stood out , his pitch black hair, and his handsomeness which made every lady stare.

"Haa,that crest" one person said,

"the two wolfs"another person said ,

" The seigfried's crest!! , then this must be

the youngest, master Igris seigfried".

"This is the first time seeing him in person, and he is really good looking "

Their reaction was expected, because unlike most Nobles , igris disliked social gatherings, seeing people entirely was tiring for him, he was what you would call "an introvert",

He found excuses to avoid joining his family for any event that's takes him out, and if he inevitably attends any events , he stays long enough for everyone to notice he attended and then disappears, only to reappear when it's time to leave.

He has perfected this art.

Due to these reasons the public has little or no knowledge of how he is actually like, as he has done nothing notable, nothing at all to make him stand out, merely walking in the shadows of his brothers.

After passing throught the gate , the beautiful courtyard of the temples was in view , it was simply beautiful, from the variety of flowers on both sides of the pathway

The air was fresh and full,it was like waking into paradise, all the candidate present must have heard of the beauty of the great temple of Deus ,but this must be Thier first time in it , as you have to be sixteen years of age, or older to step Into the temple.

Despite the beauty of the garden , it was nothing compared to the magnificent structure that stood in the middle of he garden , boldly written at the top ,

",The Temple of Deus"

It had gigantic pillars that made the mansion and manor of most of the Noble's present look small, as for those of humble backgrounds, its just breath taking to witness this side .

The astonishment and awe was clearly seen in everyone's faces , both Noble and commoners .

"May I have your attention please", aloud voice swept throughout the whole courtyard,

And along side the voice , silence , as everyone stopped chattering and looks in the direction of the voice ,

A middle aged man dressed in a white robe, was seen ,and beside him two priest one on each of his sides .

"you are all welcomed to the Deus temple ,Noble's and those from humble backgrounds alike , today Is the day that out every so benevolent god who is fair and just, rewards and punishes as he deems fit , grants all you younglings a blessing ,

the kind of blessings each of you receive has no connection to your status , when the door behind me is opened , step inside and follow the directions of he priest, I wish you all the best"

After saying this ,the door behind the priest opened and everyone started going through the door .

"Let's get this over with " Igris said as he walked in.

Upon entering into the the temple,everyone was expecting a very lightened place where priests would be praying or singinf praises, and a priest would probably touch Thier heads and bless them .

No.That was the opposite of what they were experiencing.

Darkness, as soon as they stepped in , no one could see anything again, the normal reaction to this would be confusion,which infact is to be expected, whispering could be heard all around ,where everyone was complaining,

"Father and brother didn't mention this " one person said,

"What is this ?, where are we ?,I can't see anything "

"Who stepped no me "

The whole place was thrown into confusions, then suddenly,

Blue torches began to be lit around .

"Oh!!" a female voice exclaimed.

In the middle of the really big hall was a throne,and on it a giant statue of a king ,beside him, knights holding swords on one side, and on the other side people with musical instruments, harps, flutes.

Below the huge statue , stood an angel like statue holding a stone tablet , and on it ,three Inscriptions.
