SOLO LEVELING: IGRIS

Sunlight, a golden intruder dare to peeks through the heavy drapes, as it's rays illuminate the room slightly, a young man in his teens could be seen lieing down on a luxurious bed fast asleep.

**knock, knock"

Igris groaned as he heard the knock on his door, then he buried his face under the pillow,

"master igris", a gentle male voice called out,

"it's twenty minutes pasted the hour of seven, his grace expects you downstairs for breakfast shortly".

"fuck, it's morning again" the boy, igris whispered.

" I want to sleep some more Mr Roland" Igris mumbled.

"I'm afraid that's not possible, as you have a busy day ahead of you" the butler Roland responds.

Igris the duke's third son is known for his penchant for lingering in the morning,heaving a sign, he threw off the covers, the cool morning air nipping at his bare skin, as he sheepishly rubbed the lingering sleep from his eyes and stands to put on his slippers,

he opens the door, revealing Roland a young man who looks as though he was in his thirties

Wearing a black suit and on the left side of his cloth, a crest of a two headed wolf.

"Another late night spent tinkering, master? " Roland said with a smile.

"you know me too well sir Roland" Igris said still rubbing his eyes

"perhaps a warm bath will clear your mind, master" Igris said

"I have prepared your bath and your clothes master, if you would please follow me" Roland said as he led Igris to the bathroom,

On reaching the bathroom, Igris took off his robe and slippers and got into the bath tub, stepping into the tub, igris relaxed his muscles as he took a bath, while trying to clear his mind and prepare himself for the day.

After taking his bath, he proceeded to put on his underware and walked to the dressing room.

"please put these on, master"

Roland said handing him a white shirt and black trouser.

Roland helped adjust his collar and cuffs, as a butler would do.

"you look as handsome as always master" Roland said as ignis proceeded to look at the mirror.

He inherited his father's dark hair and his mother's blue eyes, topping it up with his strong athletic build, due to his training and exercise.

After about five minute of staring at the mirror,

"what is my schedule for today" Igris on a serious face.

"yes master, we have quite a busy day master, first dinner with the Duke, then we shall proceed to the temple for your awakening" Roland said

"ah, it's today" igris said with eyes wide opened,

The awakening, a time when everyone both Noble and commoner goes to the temple to recieve gods blessings and awaken skills, at the age of sixteen, apparently the level and power of the skill depends on how deep their faith, or at least that has been the conception.

Igris mood instantly shifted and he wore a sad expression as he remembered how all his elder siblings awakened very powerful skills, and how disappointing it will be if he falls short and awakens a weak skill.

"it's alright young master, I know you will awaken a powerful skill, go there as confident as you have always been"

Roland said.

Igris cheered up and said with a smile "thanks sir Rolland"

looking at his pocket watch, "it appears you are two minutes behind on breakfast" Roland said

"no,not again, father will give me an ear full, let's hurry Roland " Igris said as he put on his shoe with Roland's assistance.

As they walked towards the dinning, on the hallway, were different knight statues lined up on both sides, and on the walls, painting of the previous successors of the seigfried's household and the present duke,

As he passed by, his mind wandered,and at last the big oak doors leading to the dinning, Roland moves ahead, and opening the door he announces,

"The third young master Igris seigfried enters the dinning hall"

At this Igris walks in.
