A New Reason

Lilly Rose blinked once and blinked twice. The message that was displayed on the screen of her phone didn't change on her shaking hands.

She knitted her brows in her disbelief. She barely talked to her mother after her bathroom incident with her husband. And even when she tried to beg her to listen to her explanation of what had happened, she refused.

To be fair, she also didn't listen to her husband's explanation of the said incident.
