Chapter 16

Evangeline

Evangeline Castillo also known as Eva, has down to her back purple hair, loves wearing anything purple including her home but she is also fancy and high class with her looks. Purple eyeshadow, light purple lipstick with her pale skin, and purple earrings that shimmer when the light hits it. Heading to see Bethany Coline the woman who used to be the Queen of the Coven, her eyes landed on the future Queen for the Coven a beautiful blonde lady as everyone knows as Addy Keith. She knew Harley would be displeased if another woman attempted to steal her away but making eye contact with this blue eyed blonde made her heart melt. Once, Addy looked down, Eva walked away as quickly as possible to make her way to the Queen to see what is needed for the new one's that are replacing her within the next couple of months.

Arriving at Bethany's place a big beautiful mansion just as big as hers with more gold and white surrounding the place. Knocking on the mansion door, her butler answered.

"Come in, Evangeline. Queen Bethany is expecting you." Her butler said gentleman like.

"Thank you." Evangeline walked inside.

Evangeline found Bethany sitting in her living room sipping on wine first thing of the day. Evangeline rolled her eyes, disapproving of how someone could drink first thing in the morning.

"Queen Bethany, Evangeline has arrived for your service." Her butler announced to the room.

Bethany stood smiling her old fragile body falling apart as her husband helped her get up. Evangeline knew that Bethany used to be young and beautiful, now she is just slowly dying of age for a human.

"Eva, sweetie, welcome to my humble home. Rumors are going around that Addy and Harley have split as of a few hours ago. Is there any reason behind it?" Bethany asked.

"No, ma'am. I wasn't even aware though Addy had luggage with her when I saw her heading to look like her dad's place that is only a few blocks from their loft." Eva explained best to her knowledge.

"You need to make plans with Addy this evening, cancel any plans you have, and get this information sorted out because if that is the case. You and Celeste are in for a game plan of being set up as the next Queen's because their is no way in hell a human girl like Abby Walker that Celeste is dating will ever live up to this place. Us, Vampires have to stick together and that means placing you two together since her wife died before placing them both on the throne. Now, off with you, Eva, I am in need of alcohol." Bethany replied cranky.

"Yes, Queen Bethany." Eva responded than headed out the door.

Evangeline didn't want to cancel her party plans for the night since this is stating a celebration of new love in the Coven for Addy and Harley but now that is shot out the door since they split up as of recently. Evangeline began making her way home to cancel the party when she saw Addy rush out of her dad's place with no place to go it seemed or their was and she didn't know where to begin. Evangeline stood their staring at her until she finally got up the courage to talk to her.

"Queen Addy Keith, aren't you a fine woman to see wandering around here?" Evangeline said biting her lip nervously at attempt to flirt.

"You are who?" Addy asked suspiciously.

"Evangeline Castillo also known as Eva. Pleasure to meet you your royal highness." Evangeline replied.

The conversation carried on that she did get her answer about them two being split and that she is on the hunt for Harley but had no idea where her step-mother Madison took her. Evangeline knew the best opportunity to avoid being with Celeste is to have Addy move on completely from Harley. Evangeline did eventually convince her than Addy attempted to leave back inside to her dad's as she mentioned bringing her to the party but that would be cancelled anyway. Seeing that Addy wasn't thrilled about partying that she mentioned a movie night together instead and that got Addy to smile. This time Evangeline made her way home and made phone calls cancelling her party so that way she could have Addy over. It took an hour of calling everyone to let them know and to pass on the word that they will have to party elsewhere. Rushing to her closet, she had to find something that would make Addy's jaw drop that is when she found a nice long black gown that she had stashed for a while, matching heels, and anything else she could spruce up in that time. Unfortunately it took her that extra hour to be ready after showering and putting on make-up.

Arriving at Addy's finally she felt so nervous to ring the doorbell but she wanted to see where this would go for them even as a new date. Evangeline gathered herself together seeing Addy open the door and saw her smile. She got to meet Addy's dad then he sent them on their way that she grabbed Addy bridal style and carried her to her home. Evangeline went inside the house but Addy just stood their gawking at the mansion like she has never seen one before. Evangeline finally got her inside describing everything that has gone on since the mansion looks like shit. Though as they were making their way down the hallway Addy got stuck in place, it didn't make sense to her, she has always been able to walk into any part of this house without being stuck in one spot. Evangeline didn't know what to do and Addy is freaking out also crying in frustration trying to get out of that spot.

Evangeline walked over touching Addy by the hands and pulling her though it did no use. Their has to be a reason Addy couldn't move forward from that spot to go to her room. Evangeline went into her room and made a phone call to Celeste since that is the only person who would know this kind of force put on someone. Getting through to Celeste was a pain in the ass, she didn't comprehend that Addy is stuck in my home and that Harley has been kidnapped, seemed to be talking to a brick wall at this point. Evangeline handed the phone to Addy listening to her beg for help on getting unstuck so that she can enjoy her evening. Finally, after an hour of convincing Celeste arrived then pushed Addy forward hard enough that she fell into Evangeline's arms which made her blush.

"What are you doing with another woman, any how, Addy? Where is Harley?" Celeste demanded.

"She is kidnapped by my step-mother Madison, I have no idea where she took her, and so I am hanging out with a new friend until she is found." Addy replied still wiping tears away.

"You couldn't have contacted me sooner about my own fucking sister. Addy, you maybe future Queen but this is flat out ridiculous." Celeste responded through gritted teeth.

"For hell sakes, give her a break Celeste, she didn't know what to do. Hell, she is fucking new here and doesn't know all the guidelines like we do. For all we know, your sister ran away with Madison to get out of being on the throne, they weren't seeing eye to eye because of what you did to Addy." Evangeline intervene.

"Stay out of this, Castillo. You have no idea what the hell I have gone through to get this far in this Coven to make sure both Queen's are secure and like each other." Celeste replied anger behind her voice.

"You are in my home, Celeste and I can damn sure kick you out of it too. You can't make everyone get along especially our two Queen's if they hate each other than so be it. Looks like ruling will be made elsewhere but damn sure won't have to be them two." Evangeline responded with her own fury.

"Fine, whatever, I am out of here and to track my sister down before anything else goes to shit in this hell of a place, we call our home." Celeste replied than making her way out of Evangeline's home with mutters under her breath.

Evangeline still held onto Addy in her arms than lifting her to the bedroom that they were inches from and seeing from all the fuss that Addy has fallen asleep. Evangeline couldn't believe the hell, she has gone through with her own partner Harley. That relationship must have been forced together or something for them not to last only two weeks. Evangeline watched Addy sleep peacefully on the bed without touching her anymore and stayed with her until she falls asleep herself that evening though she is supposed to be up during the night like most Vampire's, she wanted to prepare herself for another human schedule with Addy.

Evangeline woke up extremely early though she made coffee and orange juice along with anything that would satisfy Addy for that morning, she didn't mind having coffee for her early rise and go for some blood later that day. Evangeline heard soft footsteps coming downstairs knowing that Addy had some good rest that she much needed. Evangeline finished making the last pancake before setting the table with a meal of eggs, hash browns, bacon and three pancakes for her new lady.

"Good morning, Addy, darling. I have made you some breakfast if you would like to eat." Evangeline said politely.

"What time is it?" Addy asked.

"Oh, um, nine in the morning." Evangeline replied.

"Crap, I am so late for Queen duties at the Court for Elizabeth's death sentence." Addy responded.

"Relax, they scheduled their beheading for her by next year when both Queen's are present in this case for Harley being raped." Evangeline replied rolling her eyes.

"Good to hear, and good morning. Sorry for the delay in that not used to being told that." Addy explained as she sat down at the wooden table and fancy cushion wooden chair.

"What would you like to drink this morning, Addy?" Evangeline asked.

"Coffee will be just fine, make it black please nothing in it, I don't like to ruin my coffee's taste with creamers and sugar." Addy replied smiling eating her food.

Evangeline grabbed Addy a white mug with red fangs on the front of it and poured coffee into it than made her way over to Addy, handing the coffee to her, and then taking a seat next to her. Evangeline watched Addy gracefully eat with giggles.

"Why aren't you eating? This is so good. You are an awesome cook." Addy asked.

"Vampire, darling. I can't eat human food." Evangeline replied.

"Bacon has red meat in it though, you can eat it raw like you do steak." Addy responded smiling.

"You are correct but I am in need of blood supply today. I have ran low and needing some human blood to ease that crave so I don't go biting into you." Evangeline replied giggling touching Addy by the cheek.

"You can bite me, I don't mind, it'll least curve that craving." Addy responded thinking of a blood rush she would have.

"I am not going to, darling, sorry I want to keep you delicate and pretty as much as possible. Today, you will witness a first feeding if you would like? Or you can find something to do upstairs while I am gone." Evangeline suggested winking at Addy.

"No, no, I am wanting to go back and see my dad. He needs someone since Madison isn't around and my blood mother isn't around either." Addy replied.

"You're dad is fine, sweetheart. He is probably going to start dating again soon as it is. He is popular around this Coven for sure." Evangeline responding.

"If you say so then I will just try and make friends around here so I am not bored while you are enjoying a good feeding." Addy replied smiling.

Evangeline watched Addy finish up her serving of food than went and got ready for her own feast of a lovely delicate human to enjoy. She didn't want to leave Addy's side knowing that their are crazy Vampire's around this Coven that would take advantage of her for being Queen but she had to trust that everything would be okay even for a few hours. Making her way out of the driveway she found Addy staring at her with loving adoring eyes like she never felt appreciated before by someone. Evangeline knew in time things would get hot and heated between them in the sheets, not knowing how long that will be is a whole nother time waiting to happen. Evangeline took her slow human normal pace down the driveway than once she couldn't see Addy anymore that is when she sped fast to her feeding with a human Gothic girl. She wanted to get back to Addy quickly but with the way they control feeders it takes every few hours for them to switch out human's that want that bite.

Approaching the sanction for feeders, Evangeline found the first seat available which is convenient since she is starved for human blood in her veins. Two hours later she finished and the human girl looked completely drained that they had to get someone to lay her down for a while.

"Madam, you know you're only to have one human an hour, right?" Perky brunette girl said.

"I haven't had time for the last month to come for a normal feeding and I have a Queen living in my home, so don't give me this bullshit." Evangeline replied.

"To busy slutting around with other women to come for a feeding?" Perky brunette girl responding with a smirk.

"Go to hell, oh wait you already here. Goodbye, child." Evangeline replied as she made her way out of the sanction.

Leaving the sanction without another word to that young child who looked to be about early twenties. Evangeline caught sight of Addy on the arms of her worst enemy Holly Blanch, it made her want to puke so badly.

"Addy, what are you doing with Holly?" Evangeline asked.

"Making a friend like I told you, she lives next door and thought she could use a new friend." Addy replied innocently.

"You do realize that we do not get along at all, we hate each other with a passion." Evangeline explained looking at Holly with a pissed off look.

"Sorry but as future Queen, I have to know everyone here with or without Harley." Addy replied gracefully and smiling.

"Addy, you can't be future Queen here without Harley that is the rules whether you two get back together or not is a whole nother deal. You can't go around here without someone." Evangeline responded diligently.

Evangeline watched as Addy took herself off of Holly then swayed into Evangeline's arms.

"Relax, baby. Holly is protecting me, she knows how much you value a precious innocent blonde hair beauty in your arms." Addy said smiling.

"How much have you had to drink?" Evangeline asked rolling her eyes.

"A few wine coolers." Addy replied.

Evangeline held on to Addy dragging her back to the mansion with a frustrated sigh dealing with her neighbor getting people drunk during the day while she is out. It annoyed her every time that Holly thought her friends were ones to drink when most have jobs and such but to get a Queen drunk seemed so out of normal for just anyone. Evangeline got Addy to bed upstairs in her mansion thankfully not feeling stuck to the ground. Evangeline watched Addy snore slightly then made her way downstairs to find something productive to do in the meantime.

"Addy, Addy, where is Addy?" This random brunette chick asked.

"Who are you?" Evangeline asked since the woman just barged in.

"I am future Queen Harley Rayne. Where is she?" Harley said raising an eyebrow.

"Oh well, as you can see Addy got drunk by a friend and is sleeping upstairs. I am sorry that you couldn't be here to witness what a mess she has been since you left." Evangeline replied smirking.

"Whatever, I am here to tell her that I am leaving to Paris with my girlfriend Madison and I need the loft key to get in." Harley responded rolling her eyes.

"You are ditching Addy to be with her step-mother, what the fuck is wrong with you?" Evangeline replied.

"Same thing that is wrong with Addy hooking up with an older woman, two and a half days after we broke up." Harley responded scanning Evangeline up and down.

"We aren't a couple, she is just my friend, so cut the crap." Evangeline replied feeling anger.

"Sure, sure, whatever, anyways get her ass up. I am on a time crunch and need to leave soon." Harley demanded.

"Listen here bitch, I am not going to wake her up all because you are the next one in line of the throne with her doesn't mean I get to hear this shit and be bossed around." Evangeline replied relinquishing anger.

"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU, can't a woman get a day of rest without someone arguing in front of me." Addy yelled.

Evangeline and Harley both looked at Addy with concern that is when Harley made her way to Addy. Evangeline knew this was going to be a bad idea approaching a woman with a hangover that isn't even settled from sleeping and waking her up. Evangeline knew that Harley isn't going to last if Addy is already blowing a fuse.

"What the fuck are you doing here after two weeks, Harley?" Addy said through anger.

"I want to get a key to our loft and get out of this hell hole." Harley replied through gritted teeth.

"To keep pleasing my step-mother, yeah, I get it...she's supposed to be dead, not run around with my future wife." Addy responded holding on to the banister turning her knuckles white.

Evangeline walked away from the argument of the future Queen's and went to make some good alcoholic beverages and dinner because she just wasn't going to listen to it for the time Harley decided to argue with a feisty blonde, she learned that with her ex-wife Blaire that blondes are just as bad as red head when they are pissed off. She decided to make a tropical fruity alcoholic beverage with a steak dinner, she knew Addy would love an easy home cook meal that would only take a few hours while enjoying some great alcohol to relax her nerves from Harley and that drama.
