Mate

I woke up in the morning like every other day, except today was the day I move into my new school.

"Penny, are you awake yet?" I heard my brother Alex call. I actually had seven brothers, really overprotective brothers. But I didn't really mind because I am a really shy person.

"I'm awake!" I said. He came up the stairs and into my room.

"Come on, you need to get ready for school." I told him that I was and he left so that I could change. I changed into a white dress and a hoodie of Mason's before going downstairs.

They were all waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. Mason, Alex, Noah, Adam, Jax, Kayden and Connor.

I gave them a small smile and sat in Kayden's car at the back.

"Aw, she's so cute," I heard Jax whisper from the passenger seat. This happens everyday, yet I still blushed and covered my face with my hands as always. I get shy no matter the person!

Alex, who was sitting next to me, removed my hands and kissed my cheek. "Don't cover your face, sis. You are just too adorable." He picked me up and put me in his lap and played with my hair. I giggled and kissed his cheek in return.

When we got to the school, all my brothers stood around me so no one saw me. However, when we reached our class, I was suddenly at the front of our group and the whole class was looking at me. I blushed and held onto Adam's shirt as I stood behind him.

"Oh my gosh, she is so pretty!"

"Aw, she is so adorable!"

"Look at how small she is! She is so cute!"

Everyone was saying stuff about me and I looked at the ground with my face behind Adam's back. I didn't like attention, or when people looked at me. I was a really shy person.

Time Skip

It was finally lunch time. We all sat at an empty table except I was sitting on Jax's lap. More like lying on him. I decided to take a little nap.

I walked into the cafeteria and immediately zoned onto my table, where a bunch of guys were sitting. I growled lowly and made my way there. When I got there, I asked them who they were and why they were sitting at my table.

"Sorry, Alpha. We didn't know this table was already taken," one of them replied. They were human, but they knew about us... they seemed like good guys, so I didn't see anything I should do.

"No offence Alpha, but please shut up!" Another one of them whisper-shouted at me. I slammed my hands on the table and looked him in the eye.

"Why?" I asked.

Suddenly, they all turned to the guy in the middle of the table. Only then did I see the small girl asleep in his arms. Only now, she was sitting up and rubbing her eyes with a frown on her face. It took a lot in me not to awe at her. She was adorable!

"Jax? Did you wake me up? I want to go back to sleep..." She asked in a small, sleepy voice. She opened her eyes and it was like my entire world stopped.

"Mine!" I growled.

She jumped and looked at me with fear in her eyes before hugging the boy whose lap she was in. I stopped growling when I saw the fear in her eyes.

"Jax... Why is the scary man watching me?" She asked quietly. She was so innocent, and all mine! I growled softly and made my way towards her. Her brother - I think he was - was whispering sweet nothings in her ear. She was nodding and falling asleep again.

I crouched down beside her. "Hello, little one. I'm sorry I scared you. I didn't mean to. My name is Vincent. What's yours?" I asked softly.

She looked at me shyly and gave a small wave before burying her head in the guy's chest. My eyes flashed and I stood back up.

"This is our sister, Penny," the first guy who talked to me said.

Penny... It was perfect.

"Do you want to be friends?" I asked quietly, holding out my hands for her. She looked at me from beneath her lashes and slowly outstretched a hand. When we touched, I felt electricity run through my body, and it took everything in me not to kiss her right now.

She jumped and quickly retracted her hand. I smiled gently and she quickly buried her head back in her brother's chest.

"Would you like to come over to my house today?" I asked the group, daring them to try and refuse.

They nodded in compliance and stood up. They began introducing themselves.

"Mason."

"Alex."

"Jax." He was the one holding my mate.

"Adam."

"Kayden."

"Noah." He was the idiot who yelled at me.

"Connor."

"I'm Penny..." I heard her whisper. I grinned and said, "And I'm Vincent. Let's get going now."

Jax handed Penny over to Connor, who held her bridal style as she went back to sleep. Mason was next to him as Penny gripped his hand tightly in her sleep.

She was gorgeous. With auburn hair, grey eyes and soft, tanned skin. I already loved her. I got in my car and the guys did the same with their cars as we drove off. I parked in my garage and let them park their cars there too. There was definitely enough space.

When I got out, I saw Penny was awake with Kayden holding her waist and Noah holding her hand. She waved shyly and we went inside. I chuckled - she was too adorable.

I went into the kitchen and saw my mum and twin sister. They immediately stood up, but Cadenza went behind me to the guys. I turned around and saw her hugging Adam, who looked confused at first but then hugged her back. I guess my sister found her mate...

I turned around and saw my mum looking so happy. "Mum, this is Penny. And these are her brothers: Alex, Mason, Jax, Kayden, Noah, Connor and Adam."

'Penny is my mate and Adam is Cadenza's mate' I mindlinked her.

'I'm so happy for you two!' she replied.

We all went into the living room and watched some films together. Adam and Cadenza were cuddling on the sofa to the side. Connor had laid Penny on the floor and she was now sitting on his back. Kayden was next to them, smacking Penny's hand away everytime she went to touch his hair. She kept giggling and I found it cute. Noah, Alex and Jax were watching the film in silence.

And Mason was next to me, telling me everything I needed to know about my adorable mate. Her favourite colour was purple, animal was a wolf - which made me extremely happy - and she was really shy and quiet around new people.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Penny shriek and quickly turned to see if she was okay. She was straddling Kayden and he was pretending to be dead. Suddenly, he opens his eyes and looks at Penny, causing her to shriek, before the process repeats. Penny was giggling and clapping her hands in excitement. She looked so adorable. I saw Mason leave my side and join them.

Well, he picked up Penny from behind as she gasped, and brought her over to me. She tucked her head into Mason's shoulder and looked at me with uncertainty in her eyes. It made me sad.

I sat next to her and slowly took her away from her brother and put her in my lap. She bit her lip and wrapped her arms around me. I growled softly and looked at her lips. She couldn't hear my growl but felt the rumble of my chest. Penny giggled and hugged me tighter. I growled again, this time a little louder and she was watching me with amazement.

Mate is happy! Mate loves us!

My wolf, Sin, was barking in happiness. He was fighting me for control and managed to take half. Now, we were both in control.

Don't do anything stupid.

I won't!

We growled and took Penny upstairs and into our room. She was really nervous. "You're really pretty," we said quietly as we placed our mate on our bed. She blushed and hid under the covers. We chuckled and got under with her.

She was now laying on our chest. Only now I noticed that she was wearing a plain, white dress. Simple clothes definitely suited her best and white was certainly her colour. Her legs felt so smooth, we thought, as we stroked them lightly. She was giggling and squirming to get our hands off.

"S-Stop, it tickles!" she giggled, burying her face in our shirt. We growled lowly and pulled her down on top of us, her bare legs on either side of our own. Her hands were on our chest and when she looked up at us with so much innocence...

It was driving us crazy.

"Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous." She blushed and before she could hide again, we tilted her face up so that we could see how beautiful she was. She bit her lip again and we groaned, flipping over so that she was now under us. Putting our head on her chest and closing our eyes, we listened to the quick heartbeats of our mate.

She giggled once again. "Your breath tickles." She was squirming again and this time, Sin took full control. He growled and Penny gasped. Sin took advantage of the situation and kissed her on the lips. They were so soft, and she didn't pull away. Sin gave me back full control, and I was growling in approval when she didn't push me away.

When we eventually pulled away, Sin and I were both now in control and we were growling possessively. Penny finally opened her eyes and looked at us. We growled and kissed her again before throwing the covers over our bodies and drifting to sleep in each others arms.
