The tail

Diana led Baiken down into a basement which served as private parking for certain members of the public, they came to a halt in front of a very sleek looking car, Baiken was no expert but this car seemed like it could be fast...

"It's, beautiful, what is it?"

"This my dear, is an Aston Martin, standard issue for a British secret agent"

"It's name is Aston Martin...? You name the cars?"

"No silly, this is its make, the model is a Vantage"

"Aston Martin Vantage, it's a handsome name, for a handsome car"

"You'll get along in Britain just fine with that perspective lass, get in" Diana said smiling.

Baiken got in and watched the interior "It's much better in here than a yellow cab"

"I'd hope, this is a very expensive car" Diana started it making its V12 bellow through the basement parking, Baiken looked around shocked.

"What was that!?"

"The noise of its engine, relax"

"Engine?"

Diana suddenly felt back in that position again, a kid, four years old asking 'But why but why but why?'

"Don't worry about it too much ok?" She said trying to brush it off before the next question arose.

They slowly crawled out if the basement and entered the streets.

"First I need to clock in at HQ, then its girl time for me and you"

"Clock in?"

Diana burst out with laughter "Never mind Baiken! You know you're actually such a sweety pie"

Baiken started to hear her multiple questions and blushed "I won't even ask why you called me a pie?"

Diana laughed again, her eyes glanced in the rearview mirror then took a right hand turn.

"So, if you had one dire question? Your life just started now Baiken, what would it be?"

"Anything?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you so smooth down there!?" She almost lifted her tone too much, Diana realised she was begging to ask, her face went red and she looked at her "Ok, it does feel a little better that way"

"Really?"

"Yes, and it's hygienic, and, well, men like it"

"Men like it...?"

"Its, considered sexy"

"What does that mean?"

"Attractive, seductive"

"Ok, but, I never knew you had to... Adjust to your physical appearance in order to attract men?"

"Lass you'll see in the future some men has to be won over, others will be easy"

"I realised, I openly asked your men of they want sex and they kindly denied"

"That's another thing" Diana said glancing in her mirror, then turned right again "Love isn't all about the sex"

"It's not?"

"No, you start liking each other, doing favours for each other, go do things together, sex should be the last thing on your mind whilst being with someone you like" Diana turned right again and this time Baiken noticed it.

"Are you going around in circles?"

"I am, it seems we have a tail"

"A tail?"

"We're being followed"

"Then why not say that, you westerners and your words sometimes! I'll never catch up..." Diana suddenly planted the gas and Baiken was forced into the leather seat "What the hell!?" She yelled.

"Buckle up! I'm going to try lose them"

Baiken with her eyes still on the road dug next to her for the buckles thinking its like the airplane but Diana reached around her and grabbed the buckle drawing it around her and clicking it in, then yanked the emergency brake and floored the accelerator hard, making the Aston roar and fly through a corner sideways.

"Madness! This is worse than an airplane!" Baiken screamed.

"Sorry lass, I know its a helova introduction to Britain but bare with me" Diana said running through the gears, Baiken sat welded to her seat, she has never seen the world pass by her this fast but flinched when Diana geared down one, two, three then jerked the steer, the Aston wailed again smoking it's tyres violently through a corner.

"I'm going to die! There's no control! I'm at the mercy of this car!"

"I won't let you get hurt Baiken just stay quiet and let me focus!" Diana said her eyes like a hawk's poised on the road.

Coming out on a countryside Diana found she could open the taps and planted the accelerator harder, Baiken's shrieks almost rose as the revolutions of the engine, screaming louder as the engine roared higher.

"Gun!"

Baiken felt cold as Diana slammed her head into her knees but the shot cracked and they slid, it was a nightmare, the Aston went sideways, struck a curb and with it's current speed went into a barrel roll.

Baiken clasped her legs starting to feel the spinning work up her nausea then they came to a crashing halt.

No pain accept that still in her shoulder Baiken looked at Diana, who was blooded and groaning.

"Diana!"

"I, I'm ok, get out and run if you can" she said attempting to blink at the blood that flowed over her eyes.

"Diana! No please"

"Get out Baiken, and run" Diana felt herself slip in and out of consciousness.

The noise of another car somewhere where the road was made Baiken look back, she saw the lights dim and doors open.

"No, these bastards die tonight" She said looking for the button to release her seatbelt.

"I said run Baiken"

"If I don't do something you die, then at least I can say I tried saving you if I die, where is my katana?" Baiken said looking around in the car, it was nowhere immediately so she opted for plan B, Ninjitsu.

She jumped out but lifting her right hand was still painful, so she brought her left hand down to the right and formed the seals "Multiplication of form"

Diana saw shocked how Baiken's body split in two, one ran into the darkness and one came round to her side and opened the door.

"What did you just do?" She asked when Baiken managed to open the wreck.

"It doesn't matter now, come!"

Baiken took the injured woman one side then stood to face the torches coming through the bush.

Baiken made a new set of ninjitsu seals and took Diana's hand "Stand perfectly still, what ever you do Diana, do not move an inch, be like a statue"

"Why? We should run?"

"Just do it, absolute stillness, no movement"

Diana watched her hand in Baiken's, then follows her order. She looked up at the men who came through to the wreck, but to her surprise the torches never focused in their direction, they combed over them, but never honed in...

The men came to the wreck and scanned the interior "They're gone!" one of the three said.

"Great dragon's breath!"

Diana was now baffled at what she saw, and heard, though Baiken stood next to her she clearly heard Baiken's voice behind the men and a massive blast of fire erupted from her mouth, looking like someone who held a balloon to her lips to blow it up, she blew through her fingers to spew the fire over the three men, who wailed and wove at the flames.

As they went down the other Baiken still fired making perfectly sure they perish in the flames, then that giant fire stopped coming from her lips and she vanished.

Diana looked at Baiken next to her who let her hand go, baffled at what she just saw

"As you can see" Baiken said out of breath but smiled "It's not only a katana I can use to kill someone you know"
