Chapter 5 : Fighting in the skies

「Spectator: Eden Isis

I forbid you to die Shin Lee 」

"A voice is telling me to survive and that's what I plan to do!"

"What?  Impossible!"

My prison guard's eyes seemed to tremble with surprise.  The bastard wasn't about to see what was coming for him.

"I didn't really show you what I was capable of when we faced off in Seoul."

I took a deep breath and began to speak his sentences.

"There are worse things than death, there is the loss of hope..."

Come to me...  EXCALIBUR!"

These were the words I spoke when I called upon my power.

My eyes turned pale yellow.

The sword of Excalibur arrived in my hand, it was translucent.

Hundreds of monsters began to bite me.

I was bleeding, I had small scratches, but I had the strength to sweep away all the opponents with one blow of the sword.

The number of monsters decreased considerably.

"What is this power?" Asked the prison warden

"This is a"fetish"!"

Fetish, it was a power given to"Personnel"thanks to this ability, they were able to use the skill of a hero of the past time.

There are three types of Fetishes the normal ones which are related to historical characters, the quantum ones which are related to scientific discoveries and the divine ones which are the equivalent of God's power.

In my case, I had a normal fetish that corresponded to King Arthur.  So I have the ability "Excalibur".

"And now it's your turn to suffer the same fate!"

The prison guard was incapacitated.  I could now run away.

[Condition met]

"I can escape, but the question is how?  I'm in the sky."

While I was looking for a way back to land a strange man arrived in a ship.

A dazzling brown stranger.  He was a man of medium height.  He looked at me for a long time with a cheerful expression.

"I can't believe it, I did it, I managed to save Shin Lee!"

"Tell me, you are here to save me right?"

"That's right, if you get in that ship, we can get back to Earth!"

"It's good to see some new allied faces, let's go!"

We didn't waste any time and went back to the ship.  I could hear Saejin's voice over the radio.

"So you found him?"

"Yes, we're heading back to the base."

So on top of that, he's part of"The Hopes".  All the more reason to get to know him.

"Thanks again, by the way what's your name?"
