Art Techniques
There are several types of art techniques that have evolved in the Cultivation World. As the civilization of cultivators advanced, the number of these art techniques increased. However, initially, there were only four types of art techniques: Cultivation Art, Mystic Art, Forging Art, and Crafting Art.
Cultivation Art is the oldest art technique that humans discovered, which enabled them to become cultivators. Essentially, cultivation art is a technique for refining the natural energies (like Qi or Mana) in the world and harnessing them into the human body.
Mystic Art is the second oldest technique discovered by humans. As they grow stronger in cultivation, their souls also become more powerful. At a certain stage, humans begin to sense the existence of the Dao (Law) that governs the world. They emulate the Dao and create it as a technique that can be used in battles.
