Mito Uzumaki

Tsunade was extremely conflicted as she went looking for Ren. The kid always called him wife but she never once took that to heart. His affections were slightly adorable but to her the misplaced notions of a child. They actually made him her fiancé. A kid for heavens sake.

She was no fool this situation was undoubtedly beneficial to her clan, to the village, and even though she loathe to admit it, to herself. It was though, not truly beneficial to Ren. He'd have a beauty like her for a wife sure but the age gap was large, he'd have to be toted about by the clan he hated, and he would become a political tool, which may harm the mental recovery he'd made so far.

Grandma Mito could help with out having him go through this but the whole plan was likely masterminded by her. Her dad looked way too uncomfortable at the start, for her not to know he wasn't initially confident in this. He likely fought for her union to Ren and not some other Hyuga main family brat to try to get her to comply.

Ahhh my happiness for this brat. He wasn't bad though he loved medical ninjutsu, likely truly loved her, and she could beat that little bit of perversion he acquired out of him. Like he could ever look at another woman with how beautiful she was.

As she was slowly trying to convince herself this was a good idea. She found her brother and Ren playing around with some little Uzumaki girl. Seeing Ren laugh with this girl made her uncomfortable. Was she already becoming possessive?

"Ahh hello wife come here meet Kushina she seems to be very similar to you haha."

"What! I'm not similar to anyone! I'm my own person! Big sis have these two stop bullying me!"

[ Ren leaned in for a whisper]

" Wife the girl here maybe our future sister in law, it seems Nawaki went looking for a girl like his sister ahaha"

Suddenly relief washed over Tsunade, and once again her brain nearly short circuited. What were these thoughts!?

" Ahh we'll have time to deal with this later come Ren, father and mother wish to meet you. Nawaki stay here and play with your friend. I'll bring your brother in law back when we're done."

After Ren and Tsunade had walked away Kushina and Nawaki continued to mess around.

"Umm hey Tsunade what's going on?"

" What do you mean?"

" You seem troubled, and you told Nawaki you'd bring his brother in law back."

"Hai you'll see soon. Come on lets talk to my parents."

After that was said soon Ren saw Tsunades parents sitting at a table, this time he could see someone he had mixed feelings of meeting, Mito Uzumaki.

The First Lady of Konoha, the first jinchuriki, and probably the most powerful ninjutsu and Fuinjutsu user in the current era. She had perfect control of the nine tails, which means apart from almost infinite and extremely powerful chakra, she could sense people's feelings. It was easy to lie and even trick yourself the lie was real, but she could read emotions how do you fake those?

" Come sit down Ren. Tsunade sit at his side please."

"Now Ren the reason I asked you here is to remove that pesky seal of yours. Before we do that though I have a question."

" [In a bow] Thank you for this favor. Please go ahead lord Senju."

" I heard you proposed to my daughter. Do you love her?"

" Uhhh I did…..and I do love her more than I'm willing to admit… but something tells me I can't lie to myself or any of you right now."

Ren, Tsunades parents, and a red faced Tsunade all look at Mito.

"The boy speaks the truth."

A red faced Ren turns to look at Tsunades father once more. How embarrassing! He wasn't even sure he felt that way, he definitely wants to just thunder god out of here.

" Very good then. We can now rest easy that you will be our son in law."

"WHAT!?" [Looking like the man went crazy]

"Don't look at your father in law like that. It's rude."

" Are you ok with this Tsunade? If you don't want to I can live with this seal, it's not inconvenient."

[That's the first thing he asks? Maybe this won't be that bad.]

"Yes little husband, it seems the heavens really favor you. I'll take you gambling to celebrate! With our luck we'll probably be rich soon."

A red faced Ren once more looks at Tsunades parents… no….more like his family in law.

" What is needed of me father in law?"

" Oh? You catch on quick."

" Of course mother in law. My wife taught me well."

" Well son in law you will now become a member of main Hyuga family again, you will have your cursed mark seal removed, and your first born son must marry into the Hyuga family. Can you accept this?

Through gritted teeth "If I must."

" He speaks the truth."

Father in law nods his head at Mito.

" Worry not son in law while you will have your name restored to the main Hyuga family register, your family name is now Senju. As for my future grandson he'll be raised by the Senju and Uzumaki, don't worry. Any questions?"

"Umm…father in law… why me? I can't imagine this being a beneficial trade."

" Humility is a virtue my boy, but don't belittle yourself. Your mastery of medical ninjutsu at your age is no simple feat. Now with your intelligence you surely noticed your value increased monumentally after you mastered flying thunder god AND had medical training. No one else has been able to use my uncles jutsu, let alone alter it to suit their own needs. If that wasn't enough you are possibly Konohas most valuable war time ninja now."

" Surely it can't be that exaggerated?"

" Ahh from Hiruzens report you can mark kunai or other items and regardless of distance use thunder god to it right? Now imagine your ability during a war. With a single item you could have a multiple squads infiltrate behind enemy lines, transfer provisions, provide reinforcements the uses are endless. You're simply a one man war machine."

Holy shit he's right. I've been thinking about my personal fighting power with flying thunder god, but with some training he's absolutely right. I might be more valuable than the Hokage at this rate….

"Don't let your mind wander boy."

"Uhh yes….Umm…. Grandmother? I apologize."

"Enough inflating the kids ego. It's time to remove that seal. All of you leave this room, I can't allow distractions."

" Understood grandmother/ mother." Then the Senju family of three walked out.

" Before I begin boy I want to make clear stop trying to place that mark here it won't work, and you can't change destiny."

I was stunned. Did she read my mind or something?

" What do you mean?"

" Don't play dumb. You're not the only one that can see the future boy. Don't look so shocked.

You looked stunned when you saw Tsunades parents but not Nawaki, you looked stunned this village exists, and you are afraid of me and seem to know about my current resident. None of these things are normal for someone I've never met, let alone a child.

I'm not sure how much you know but you can't change this event. It is inevitable. I've delayed it far too many times and this time it's necessary for the child of prophecy."

I did not see this coming. She knows the future? That's new. Is she like the ancient one or some shit?

" They'll die though, how can you be okay with that?"

"I've made arrangements. What will die is this village not all of its people. Let it be boy. Fate is not kind to its challengers."

"Why let me marry Tsunade then?"

" Her pain is not necessary in the grand scheme of things. You can just take her away from the village until it's necessary. I'm sure I can entrust you with this."

A wide eyed Ren can only just accept this weird turn of events. She knew things after her death, truly a mystical woman.

"Can I save Nawaki, Mother and Father in law?"

" You can try. Like I said fate is a hard thing to fight. A fate of death being the hardest."

" What about the rest of the villagers then, aren't you saving them?"

"They are not Senju, they don't have such strong ties with fate."

" So they are inconsequential?"

"Correct."

" Do you know why I know the future?"

" Your soul.

In the ninja world the Uzumaki are the most well versed in matters of the soul. Your soul is a merged soul but one half doesn't seem of this time and the other more dominant half seems newer, like it consumed the first.

My guess is someone used a temporal jutsu and selected you as their host, but your soul won the struggle for control. You retained most of their memories but destroyed their ego in the process."

Not exactly right but even I can tell the part of me that was Nedd Stark truly died at some point.

"As for that cursed seal on your head, it's a fake. It should undo itself when you achieve genin level chakra."

That's it I give up. Talking to this lady is going to make me have a heart attack.
