Kakashi's listed height is 181 cm (~5 ft 11 in). That’s fairly tall for naruto characters. As for his child height it is canonically high. When he takes Minato’s bell test he recently graduated from the academy. In other words, he was 5 years old when joining team Minato. Kakashis height at this time is not listed. Obito, on the other hand, is listed. Measuring at 154.2 cm (~5 ft 1 in). Considering the two are about the same height Kakashi would indeed be around 5ft at 5 years old. (which is weirder when you find out Obito is older by 4 years at graduation.) Kakashi actually ends up being taller than Obito by Shippuden. Obito only gets to 175 cm (~5 ft 9 in). Kakashis ridiculous child height doesn’t make it the norm but it is canon.

Your correct. I haven’t read the Sasuke Shinden passage the wiki entry references but this is the canon logic according to the wiki. My logic is chakra shenanigans when it conflicts with science but maybe it’s just a bad wiki entry.
