Time For A Change

Yo! This story will have a lot of changes after the Baryon mode arc, because I couldn't be bothered to watch Boruto after the loss of Kurama and Sasuke's rinnegan. It will go off of my own idea's and thoughts, with this story out I will be making three stories at once so please be patient with me. Read synopsis if you are confused about what's going on. Thanks.

Sasuke will be softer towards Sakura when they are alone.

Konoha Year 85, Sasuke Age Twenty, Border of The Land of Fire

Sasuke got a letter about a week ago saying that Naruto will be getting married in ten days. Though Sasuke knew he should be there he was too prideful to show how much he cared. Him and Naruto had their differences settled in the past costing him his left arm, though he could've had an artificial arm made of Hashirama cells he decided that this was punishment for his actions against his friends.

Friends is a word both foreign and familiar to him, he has had many of them give him a second chance even after his horrible actions against them. Though he knew all of them at some point gave up on him, he knew that they were right to do so. The only person that truly never gave up on him was Naruto, and he was thankful that he had such a person as a friend.

Deciding to send a message by hawk with congratulations on it to Sakura as it is customary for couples to greet the wedding pair together, but that's when an annoyingly painful headache struck. Knowing that he is immune to mental attacks he was confused, but memories of a fifteen-year-old boy came rushing in.

This boy was a normal boy from a different dimension, but what caught Sasuke attention was an anime called Naruto. In this anime he sees the life of Naruto from his point of view. Most of the things he seen has happened already, so he wasn't to interested. There was even a bit of the future up to Naruto's wedding, the next memories of the anime Boruto intrigued him, this anime was the story of Naruto's son, meaning events from the future. He seen his daughter along with the kids of his friends, which brought a rare smile to his face.

His smile didn't last long as it got to the appearance of another Otsutsuki named Momoshiki. Luckly him and Naruto along with Boruto defeated him, his relief didn't last long as he seen the Karma mark on Boruto, making him the vessel of an Otsutsuki. Then there was Kawaki, that boy gave him bad vibes. Eventually he sees himself get destroyed along with Naruto by another Otsutsuki named Jigen which later reveals his real name as Isshiki. Seeing Naruto sacrificing his life he was pissed at himself for being weak. When Naruto finally wins with Kawaki's help, he still wasn't fully relieved. When he sees it was Kurama who really died, he finally breathed a sigh of relief even though he felt bad for Naruto.

Seeing his incompetence as a father, husband and friend, Sasuke was pissed. While he spent his time running away from his problems, instead of facing them head on his family and best friend was suffering. Deciding it's time he stopped running he burns the letter he wrote and rushes to Konoha.

Three Days Later, Naruto's Wedding Day, Gate of Konoha Village

After verifying his identity with the gate guards, he heads to Sakura's house. Knocking on the door he waits about thirty seconds before he hears the voice and footsteps of Sakura.

"Coming!" Said Sakura.

Seeing the door open Sasuke took a quick deep breath to brush away his nervousness.

"Sasuke-Kun?!" Sakura yelped in surprise.

"Sakura." I said with a tiny smile.

"Sorry, come in." She said with a blush.

Walking into her house she leads me to her dining area and tells me to "Take a seat." Doing so, she goes into the kitchen and comes back with two cups of coffee handing one to me as she takes a seat across from me.

"What brings you here?" She asked nervously.

"Two things, for you and the wedding." I said with a straight face but deep down I felt a little nervous.

"Me!?" She asked flustered completely ignoring the wedding part.

"Yes you." I said hoping she gets the hint.

"You... You idiot what took you so long, I've been waiting since that poke four years ago." She asked with tears of happiness and slight anger.

"Sorry, and I love you, I always loved you." I said getting up going to her side kneeling down and grabbed her hand and giving her a smile.

Wiping her tears away she leans in and gives him a short but loving kiss before parting and giving him a bright smile.
