"Miss, please follow me. The president is already waiting for you this way!"

Mirajane, the beautiful girl with white hair, opened the office door and gestured to invite Nami inside.

"Thanks!"

Nami nodded in acknowledgement and stepped into the office.

"What task do you wish to entrust?"

Su Yu turned his swivel chair gracefully as he finished asking for the task.

He couldn't help but frown slightly when he saw the orange-haired girl in front of him, as he recognized her as a member of the Straw Hat Crew, the protagonist group.

Nami was known as the genius navigator and pilfering cat.

Su Yu already knew why she had come to him. It was to eradicate the evil dragon gang.

Nami felt a sense of panic as she noticed Su Yu's sharp gaze.

"Don't be nervous, miss. Please have a sip of tea and then tell us about your task,"

Mirajane handed Nami a cup of hot tea and spoke in a soft tone.

Nami calmed down by taking a sip of tea before she openly shared the story of Arlong.

Nami believed she could offer a higher reward, but there were some factors to consider.

Firstly, she wasn't fully aware of Su Yu's abilities and the details of the guild.

Secondly, if she revealed her full offer upfront, there would be less room for negotiation.

Lastly, even though it was just hearsay, Nami had heard that Su Yu only received 10,000 Berry as a reward for solving the East Blue Overlord Creek, which made her one million Berry offer seem generous enough.

Su Yu looked at Nami with a smirk, aware of her love for money.

However, Su Yu had now offered a sky-high price of 2 billion Berry for the job.

Mirajane had complete trust in Su Yu, though, and knew that he had his own reasons for the offer, so she didn't say anything.

Su Yu smiled and said to Ms. Nami, "Although my quote is a bit high, it's definitely worth it. What do you think?"

Nami bit her lips tightly and didn't say anything.

She thought that Su Yu's offer of 2 billion Baileys was too much for her to afford.

While she had originally planned to buy Cocoyasi Village from Arlong for 100 million Baileys, this new offer was for twenty villages and was far beyond her financial capacity.
