Chapter two(first day in school)

Olive's pov

The next morning I woke up happy to go to school today ,having no fears or worries. Well thanks to my alarm ,I woke up by 6:30am and started getting ready for school, was done by 6:50am and was headed out of the house with my dad to go to Tessa's place. Immediately I opened the door I saw her already walking toward me with lots of smiles and she was looking so good. Thank God I dressed up well today.

Good morning mr lane , good morning olive you look very good this morning,

Good morning Tessa , how are you doing? Thank you for walking olive to school and I'll love for to you show her around and take care of her.

Hello dad , am right here and am not a kid I'll be fine. Let's head to school Tessa so we won't be late and thanks for coming out so we can walk together, can you fill me in on the do's and don't of the school.

There wasn't really much in my previous school, I was just a very good students that doesn't have a social life and I never really stayed too long In a school to enjoy it.

Ohh that's no issue , there's no much rules. Just be a good student that comes early to school and avoid getting into trouble. And most importantly with our seniors.

Ohh ok , I can work with that but what's with the avoiding issues with our seniors ?? Are they rude ?

Ohh not really , they are just like every other seniors, they always demand respect and you can never enter their class without permission from them first and my brothers is in 12th grade and you should always avoid him cause I do too.

That's nice ! You have an older brother who's also a senior , you should feel secured and happy.

Well If it's happiness for having an older brother , yes but a senior definitely a No. We dont really talk in school just at home.

Why ? Is he that bad ?

Ohh no , he's not bad at all but he's too protective.He's the reason why I've never had a boyfriend, no one would want to talk to me cause he might break their bones and am sure anyone that doesn't know we are related will think he's my soon to be husband

Really pls I can't laugh again my stomach hursts but that's so nice , well am happy I don't have a brother.

Ok we are here , you welcome to Rock high and it's just a normal regular school but let's head to class and settle down first then we can talk more during lunch. It's 7:20am so we still got 10mins. .

Ok that's enough for me to settle down and am so glad I can sit with you , it's better this way.

Yh I haven't got a seat mate but i love that's it's you. Olive Thanks for coming to Rock high and for being my neighbor.

The first teacher teaching history came in and noticed me and asked that I introduce myself, It felt awkward but there was no escaping. I stood up then noticed the class was full, we were seated in the second row in the middle of the class , so I didn't really notice cause I was talking with Tessa. Everyone's face was friendly and I simply said my name , HI everyone my name is olive lane , and it's nice to meet you guys.

This school was literally fun and awesome; the teachers were very nice and taught so well that I understood every part of the teaching. This day is going so well because of Tessa , am so happy I met her and I can't wait for lunch when we get to talk and I get to know other classmates too.

The bell rang and it's lunch time, I came out with Tessa and she decided to show me around a little before we go get our lunch. I saw the field ,an indoor basketball court , the science lab , the drama class , and the music class.

This school is giving me good vibes and am finally glad we moved here.

Olive let's go get lunch now , it's just down the hallway said Tessa

Did you bring lunch or are you getting something to eat. The food here is not bad , it's actually close to what my mum makes.

Ohh wow , that's nice I'll love to try it out. I never knew how my mum's food taste like.

Ohh am so sorry , I wanted to ask you of mum but decided to wait till you talk about her.

Ohh it's fine , she died while giving birth to me , I don't feel hurt cause I've heard wonderful stories about her and I know she's in a wonderful place but I would have loved company since it was just me and my dad and he was rarely around.

Well am here now , I can be there when you need me and we can have lots of sleepovers. And my mum wants to meet you , I told her about you and she's glad you guys moved in.

Let's get our food and sit down, there's a lot of eyes on you olive. Well am glad cause everyone seems happy with you.

Yh I saw their faces too. And who's that guy walking towards us and he's smiling at you Tessa.

Oh he's name is Andre , he's in grade 12.

Ohh he's cute , and the way he looks at you hmm , it's lovely. Wait .. do you like him ??

Ohhh yes , her name is olive , she just resumed today and she's also my neighbor.

Olive this is Andre my brothers best friend and Andre this is olive my new best friend.

Hi olive , thanks alot ,that's so nice of you and I see you know how to sweet talk , I now see why you are friends.

Where's jordan ? Though am happy am not seeing that crazy ass now , it can wait till I get home.

That crazy ass is my friend baby girl and we just trying to protect you from this hungry dudes, they are always going for the sweet ones sorry meant pretty ones.

I am too olive , I just feel at ease talking to you and I want to be best friends.

I'm so glad I have someone to talk to and share everything with,But I think we need to get back to class now.

Yes we have to get to class now , we have history and we can talk more about fun things to do after school.
