"WHAT WERE YOU DOING?",while tapping disinfectant on my wounded knuckles, grey snarled at me angrily.

"if you are done then let me go!..."

"damnit latente?...this looks serious!..let's go to hospital!",worry leaking from his tone.

"ok!",i said and stood up to move out.

"h..hey?...are you really going?",he asked i peek back at him through the shoulder.

"hmm...gotta meet stephen!"

"wait for me!"

"stay and look after her!",saying this I walked out.

(at night)

"VROOM",parking my car outside.i lean back on the seat.

I hope, you haven't tried to run away again.

i wasn't able to look after her from morning as the whole day passed away creating fake traces of June all around the city.

"(sigh)",sighing and pulling out a cigarette I began to smoke and gaze up at the window of my room.

it's already midnight The lights of my room are still on,it means that you are not asleep.

are you having a nightmare?..moving out of the car i open the main door and snap aside.

she is sleeping on the couch?..why?

then gaze at rooms,yeah there are only two rooms here.one for me and another for grey.and third we use it for training.

"tsk?",you chose the couch because it's my room?

crushing a cigarette bud on the ashtray,I pick her up and move inside my room.

putting her on bed beside me,I pulled her close.

you can't even sleep peacefully without me and you want to leave me?..NOWAY!

I DON'T CARE WHOEVER STEPHEN IS....I WILL CRUSHED HIM.

but, i need power.i won't ask and won't depend on my family.i need to increase my own power.

and to do that i need an assistant who can handle every technical matter for me.

grabbing my laptop,i pulled it open and opened a black market hacking forum.

(NEXT DAY - AFTERNOON)

sitting in a cafe ,where we decided to meet up. I ordered an americano as for the whole last night, i wasn't able to take a second off from my laptop screen.

tracing all the recent activities of proto i found that he is in croatia .then i racked each and every PC in proto's area and found out about him. the only one who can put a high security program around his ip address that is hard to crack.

soon,a man came to my seat.gazing up at him He didn't look like the man i wanted.

he don't look like someone who can use that illegal platform.he has black curly hairs groomed in a decent way.his colour tone is wheatish with brown eyes and he looks lean and fit.he showed up wearing an white blazer over a brown shirt like someone who is about to get hired.

I frowned and showed him a cheat with some chain of numbers.

he nodd.

so it's him!

his name is David and the underworld knows him as 'PROTO'..world's second best hacker.

I gestured to him to sit and he sat in front of me,pulling open his blazers button, he spoke up,"L?"

looking at him dressing this way to meet up, like someone going to an interview.

I lean back and tap my all fingers on table lazily while gazing at him aloofly.

"agree to my offer?",i asked him directly.

PROTO'S POV

...is he really 'L'?

I gaze at the man who doesn't look much older than me.he has very sharp features.if any entertainment company hires him then he might become famous.

his brown hairs are sweeped back revealing his eyes which are so much attractive ,but he don't have any emotion in them.even the air surrounding him is very unreachable ,it's giving me goosebumps like i'm sitting in snow.

he leans back lazily and gazed at me while tapping his finger on the table,"agree to my offer?"

he asked in an aloof manner.i peek at his hand tapping on the table.

what?

"!!",my eyes widen at his hand.

"y..you played and won against me with this hand?",i blunted out while pointing out at his bandaged knuckles.

and he nodd with a arrogant smirk.

"fcuk?...",i mumble cursing to myself and gaze at him.
