Identity revealed (2)

Liam had an unbelievable expressions on his face. There were many possibilities he imagined about Swain's identity including being a spy, a warlock and even a prince from another kingdom, but there was never a thought of Swain being a god. He doesn't even know if Gods are real, and then imagining his closest friend being a god, he doesn't know what to say.

Looking at the shocked expressions on Liam's face, Swain could understand a little what he was thinking. He said to Liam: "I am a god, but its not like the one you are thinking. We Gods are just more powerful species, who have powers far greater than Humans and live far longer than humans."

Seeing that Liam seems to understand a little, but his expressions were still puzzled, he continued: "I can explain you everything if you wish to come with me. I can take you to Asgard and Vanaheim, which humans call the relam of Gods. You will understand everything when you go there."

Liam nodded, but then seem to thought of something, he asked: "So you can take anyone you want with you?"

"In a sense I can, but we are not allowed to interfere in the matters of human, so we never interfere if there is no emergency."

"Then why me?"

"You are a different case. Do you remember when I asked about anyone from your family having anything to do with gods or being related in anyway."

Liam nodded. He remembers that Swain asked this question when they met for the first time years ago. Swain continued, "Its because when we met for the first time, I thought maybe you had some special ability or power, but when I checked, I found you having divine blood and it's a royal one."

Liam was stunned hearing Swain's words. He couldn't imagine that he himself was related to gods when he didn't even believe in them much. After being quiet for a while, he spoke: "I want to go with you, but there's one thing I want to ask you first."

"What is it? "

"Are we only friends because you saw something related to gods in me or my blood?" saying this much, he looked hopefully at Swain. This thing matters the most to him.

Swain was puzzled why Liam asked such a question, but then he looked straight into his eyes and replied truthfully: "It is true that I was only intrested in you because of this reason, but it was only to the limit of being intrested. We are friends not because of any purpose or you being special. We are friends because I like the time we spend together, without any interference of your or mine identity."

Swain wanted to further continue, but Liam interjected, "This much is enough. This is what I wanted." saying this much, he felt relaxed. Other things doesn't matter to him. What matters to him is only his friendship with Swain. He doesn't care if Swain is god, demon, witch or anything else. To him, he is his friend, and the only friend."Let's go then."

"But your county and other things?" Swain asked. He was puzzled why Liam was so carefree all of a sudden.

"My youger brother will take care of it."

"But you have to inform him."

"That's a thing." Liam also realised that he hasn't informed his brother yet.

"I will take you with me. I have a faster way." Swain went near Liam and placed his hand on Liam's shoulder and chanted: "Teleport."

The two immediately disappeared from the lake.

Outside a huge castle, two people appeared out of thin air. Swain and Liam were invisible and looked at the castle. It was a huge castle with a very large area and huge gardens. There were soldiers going from one place to other. Swain was not surprised as he also has his own castle.

Liam on the other hand was looking around surprised. They were just in the forest in one moment, and now they appeared in front of his castle in the next minute. He lookes at Swain and asked:

"How did you do it?"

"Just a little magic. Don't worry, you will know it soon."

Liam stopped asking further. He doesn't like to question much, but these things were very new for him.

Swain was also a little surprised at Liam's ability to accept new things. If it were another person, he might have started shouting and lost control, but Liam controlled and adjusted himself very well.
