A group of people led by Alf Lovaas were heading towards the inner arena of the Azure Cross. It was here that any willing member of the organization could duel with someone to compete.
It was a common practice, for after long training or studying spells, a mage's combat skills could be dulled or vice versa, and the mage would be eager to learn his new abilities.
Next to Alf, walked Evan and Halvor, while the others kept behind. Halvor clapped Evan on the shoulder encouragingly, saying something to him with a broad smile.
Halvor was as excited as Evan about this opportunity, so he was ready in these few minutes to give him all the advice he could to win.
