Mage vs. Knight

Normally, Knights wore bulky armor and carried as many artifacts as they could buy or obtain.

Sure, this was only possible for experienced Knights who had managed to amass a considerable fortune over many years of service. All of this was done in a vain attempt to reach the level of a mage, though sometimes unique events happened.

'Many think it's untrue and an overly embellished reality, but... Knight can actually defeat a mage.' Alf pondered while staring intently at Evan.

'I haven't seen him in battle yet, but from the looks of it, it would be something impressive. In that case, if he was in full armor, with two catalysts and about four artifacts, he would defeat a mage, but only someone ordinary or a beginner. However, Valira has been training for years on end, she's ready to fight any opponent. Although... that guy has nothing but a sword.'
