Chapter 299: Declaration

Zach warped in and slammed the gorger into the ground. The gorger hit the ground leaving a huge dent.

"The pillar of light would lure all of them here, you know" Zach said

"I know"

"Well this is revenge for the gorgers that you gave life to" Zach chuckled as he stepped on the gorger "They destroyed our homes and some even feasted on a dear brother of mine, we will not give you an easy death"

I then use 'plot's armor' ability of 'absurdity' to recreate Benny's 'red whip' ability and whip it at the gorger. The gorger then used all of its power to break free from Zach's foot and dodged the attack.

But I anticipated this and whip so hard that it cut through its legs. Zach warped to the gorger and grabbed it by its face. Massive flames them erupted from the palms of his hand blasting the gorger to bits, but he made sure to adjust its power enough that it doesn't kill the gorger.

-I can sense that Helena tracked us down- Dabria commented -6 mins at best, 9 if I use my magic to throw them off the scent so you don't have a lot of time to play around-

-I can go stall them further if you want- Damon offered

-Nah, we'll finish it before they arrive though it'll be interesting if we kill this when everyone gets here and declare to them our intent, it'll be more satisfying to see them try their best and still accomplish no damage-

-I like the way you think- Ace chuckled -I'll take care of the reincarnates when he get here, Stella is more than enough to handle Albert. But this is just in case they arrive faster than we thought-

-Yeah, I'll take the old dragon on while Alice, and your 2 girlfriends are on standby- Damon added

We then went on a rampage as we bullied the first gorger, it struggled as it shots out its acidic breath or flames, but none of it affects us. It tries to run, but I would just lash out the whips to grab it in place while Zach use his magic to destroy the gorger to near death.

It would then just regenerate itself from the brink of death and the process would repeat. It didn't take long for it to give up running away and fight us head on with its full power. It tried biting us, tried using different abilities, but none of them affect us.

I'm unscratched due to plot armor and Zach was also not injured due to his modified body. The gorger doesn't even look fatigued after all of that, he then tried to aim for the others, but Alice gave it a warning shot as a black bullet from her rifle hit it in its chest, despite the small size, it left a huge gap in its chest.

-We got it- Diana reported -We got a lot of evidence and files about the creation of the first gorger.

-Should we kill everyone at this base?- Siege asked -None of the leaders are here, but all of the worshippers at this base are some of their most trusted recruits-

-Go ahead, you can hunt them with stealth or even engulf the whole base with flames, kill them all-

"Aren't you all here to kill me?" the gorger asked

"Yep, well Perseus you want the last shot? Or shall I?" Zack asked me

"Of course, if I kill it with the whips that was Benny's abilities, it will serve as revenge for its children that ate Benny"

"Yeah, that's a great idea" he nodded

The gorger didn't struggle as I use the whip and lash at it slicing it into 2, but since that's not enough to kill it, I repeat it over and over again. bits by bits got erased by the whips and with my full speed, it didn't take long for the parts to no longer regenerate.

3rd person view

Albert and the 2 reincarnates arrived at the scene to see a huge hole in the ground, no humans in sight, but he can sense it. The pillar of light he saw in the sky earlier, it was casted by Perseus, and no humans of this world could possibly have survive it.

-The light from the moon, very powerful- Helena commented -Then again, he's trained by Horus, a god much older than Zeus-

On the ground in front of them, there is a messaged carved up on the ground.

'Worshippers, spend your last time well'

-They'll also go after military members, they will clearly have people they dislike there- Aenon pointed out -Well Helena, Zeus never mentioned that minimizing the damage have to be by fighting, right? Can you help arrange a proper meeting?-

-Well I can get Dabria since we're bot mortal sponsors and we talk sometimes outside of our job, but I don't think Perseus and the rest will be up for one- Helena answered

-Then try please- Albert requested -Like we pointed out before, we can try kidnapping, but I don't want to see Perseus mad...he'll kill everyone here and may even go after our family when they go back-

1st person view

We got back to our hotel for the night so that everyone could rest for now, since after this, we'll be splitting into groups, a few will go after worshippers and the others will go after the gorgers around the world.

But me and Zach aren't satisfied for the night as we head to the military base near our old home for a visit at night. We snuck past with magic easily and it wasn't long till I stumble upon a familiar hallway.

It was after I got permission to leave the medic when I recovered from the Gorger's breath attack.

Small flashback time...

I was walking in the same hallway and heard loud conversations coming from a room, I was then crouching and eavesdropping the conversation behind closed doors.

"Send the kid out, so what if he loses control, he at least take out all of them with him!" A guy shouted "His ability is a 2 sided coin anyway, if him and his team take them all out without injuries, then good, we win. And if they all die, and hurt him good enough, he'll lose control and destroy everything on the scene, we'll be victorious"

"What if he still can't control himself afterwards?" another voice asked

"...Then we kill him"
