They both sped through the forest, bodies a blur as they boosted forward.
『They said they were adventurers from Silvertine sent by the Duke. Beta tried to catch them, but they disappeared with Terra and a lot of other Gnolls too. She doesn't know where they are.』

『But she mentioned heading back to the city. I think it's where you are, my lord. What should we do?』
『Don't do anything. I'll send Alpha and Lyra. You guys remain in the village and keep it secure.』

Alpha balanced herself on a tree branch, red energy already sparking around her body.
Lyra did the same, landing on the tall tree, her eyes scanning the road below the cliff they were currently on.
"I can't find them anywhere. Should we go further down?" Lyra asked, her eyes glowing underneath the blindfold.
