Noah and Marzia!

Noah and Marzia sat there eating silently, ignoring the circus act happening in front of them. They were not very talkative people.

Marzia ate elegantly as she listened quietly. Her mannerisms came from her half noble blood. She was the bastard daughter of a Noble. Her father, Fed, like all carefree nobles, after seeing her beautiful mother working as a waitress in a restaurant, fell for her, or more like wanted her.

Nothing unpleasant happened though, as he pursued her properly without using his money or influence. Her mother, Elsa, found that admirable as most of the wealthy merchants and/or nobles always used their money and power to threaten her.

After a long relationship, Elsa got pregnant with Marzia. Instead of being a happy occasion, Fed got berated by his father and siblings. At first they saw it as a normal thing that a noble wished to have fun with a commoner, but bearing his child was unacceptable.

Although on the outside everything appeared fine, with Elsa living in a mansion owned by Fed outside of his family's estate. But he never visited anymore, completely shutting her off.

She had everything she needed, from servants to guards, but Fed never came once after his one visit the day of Marzia's delivery.

Fed's father was a Master Mage, although old, but it was not apparent. On the day he heard of Elsa's pregnancy, Fed was beaten by him.

A noble should never marry nor bear a child with a commoner. This threatens the Title and order of the family, and he did not want anything to threaten his family's noble name.

Elsa knew of this, which was why she never blamed or hated Fed. He did his best to take care of her even though she never saw him. And like that, Mazia grew up only hearing stories about her father but never meeting him.

She hung on the line between commoners and nobles, and that managed to get her decent resources for her training and a good military position after reaching a certain level.

Noah was the same as Marzia, a bastard child of a Noble, but she had it way better than him. On the day of his birth, he heard that there were a few assassination attempts on him by none other than his father.

He slept with his mother due to her looks and gave her a lot of funds, but when she was pregnant, she hid it from him and tried her best to stay out of sight. But people talk, and those rumors have somehow found their way to Noah's father's ears.

Long story short, his mother was forced to escape from said Kingdom. She found a job in a bar easily and managed to provide for her infant son.

Due to their mothers mostly, Noah and Marzia were very good looking. Marzia had an elegant feel about her with mesmerizing eyes and a perfect figure, while Noah was very handsome with a charming scholarly aura.

This was the Alpha team. They each had their own story and goals, this was the team that Link will be leading for a month.

As they spoke and chatted with each other, behind them in the shadow of a tree, someone was listening and analyzing them. That was none other than Link of course, trying to confirm if it was even worth his time wasting it with these people or he should just ignore and complete the mission by himself.

He read their reports and stories while listening to them at the same time. He wanted to know what their personalities were like for future references.

He had no idea of what was expecting him in this enemy camp, but that did not worry him at all.

Since this camp was near the border in the living realm, Link was not worried about meeting with that Demon Captain again, nor any other for that matter.

Demons were beings that lived in his realm, but rarely would they leave in the day light or live anywhere near it. So in Link's mind, this camp would have a Master Mage at best, which he was very confident in taking care of easily.

"Alright!" Link popped out of nowhere, scaring the squad in the process. He smiled at Ganthor and ordered. "We'll be moving in 10 minutes, get ready!"
