Craftsmanship!

A new Tab appeared. Upon opening it, Link noticed a lot of greyed out options with the only one still available had the picture of a scroll. "Do I have to actually create something in each category for it's option to unlock?" Link thought, clicking on the scroll.

What opened in front of him looked like some sort of form. The first thing he saw was the drop-down bar where when he clicked on it, all the spells that he learned and can be added on a scroll appeared, dropping down with each one having a small picture in front of it.

The next thing was a slot. Link guessed that it was where he would be able to place the materials needed for imprinting the spell so he moved on to the last thing, it was a greyed out slot with a 0 in the middle. Link tested and chose a spell from the drop-down bar, that was when he saw the 0 change into a number. "That's the Mana needed" Link said happily. He no longer had any need to guess the amount anymore, which was a relief.

This was when Link started mass producing his scrolls. The Holy Nova spell was not something healers could easily do. Since real mages were rare, and the employees at the hospitals were Level 1 mages with a rare few Level 2, performing Holy Nova was impossible for them. Link managed to sell all of the scrolls that he made with the spell and earned himself a great amount of Coins.

The magic shop's owl got used to Link's visits and it would sometimes have what he needed prepared beforehand. Link started this whole thing because he wanted to find a way to Level up quicker, and now he wanted to test that out. Without proper offensive spells, Link made a scroll with the Mana Arrow spell, in which he gave to Samuel and they both headed towards the forest.

Outside the walls of the kingdom, Link noticed that it was way safer here than it was back in his old village. As they both walked and walked, they barely saw even a small beast. "What should we do?" Link asked.

<There's nothing you can do right now, just keep looking>

Link put his hand on Samuel's shoulder and they started teleporting, moving at great speeds away from the Kingdom. Link was using his Psight, trying to detect any living beasts. After a couple of hours, they found one.

A Giant grey Rat, Link looked at it and it greatly reminded him of the first monster he fought back when he first got the system. He had some nostalgia, but quickly shrugged it off and gave Samuel his bow. "You know how to use this right?" Link asked.

"Of course, i'm not a genius with it but i can hit something that big at this distance" Samuel responded, grabbing the bow and activating the scroll.

An arrow appeared in his hand, nocking it on the bow and pulling the string as hard as he could. Samuel stopped, presumably aiming, then after a bit.

Wosh!

The arrow flew in the air, drawing a blue line as it hit the rat and removed a huge chunk off of its body. The poor thing died without even knowing what happened.

<Giant Rat Killed>

<50 Exp Acquired>

A huge smile appeared on Link's face. "I was right!" He spoke out loud, making Samuel look at him.

"About what?" Samuel asked.

"Nothing" Link said, then started slowly walking towards it as he spoke to Zero. "Were there any issues?"

<It appears that you've only received half the amount of Exp>

"Doesn't matter" Link muttered.

After collecting the Beast Core, Link and Samuel headed back to the Kingdom. Samuel didn't ask much as he thought Link was trying to test the power level of the scroll on something.

The issue Link was facing at the moment was that he only had Mana Arrow as an offensive spell, which won't be enough. "The magic shop!" Link exclaimed. He thought about the shop and if it had any spell books.

Back in the Academy, Link couldn't purchase any due to the points needed, and with the system's store he did not have any need to. But now he had no skills to sell, at least useless ones, and had no Skill Points left.

Walking into the door, the owl flew in the air and greeted Link. "Welcome dear customer, shall i get you the usual?" It asked.

"Not this time Olly" Link found out that the Owl's name was Olly, which is actually a familiar belonging to the true owner of this place. The mysterious owner never comes here himself and leaves everything to Olly. "May i see all your offensive Level 2 and 3 spell books?" Link asked.

"Of course" It flapped its wings and started moving "Right this way!"

Olly led him back to its desk and with its weird Mana string, it grabbed 2 books from underneath the counter and handed them to Link. "These contain all our Level 2 and 3 offensive spells, check them out and tell me which one you pick"

With his Scholar skill, Link read the two books in an instant, and he had 4 Spells that grabbed his attention.

The first 2 were AOE spells :

(AOE spells are spells which affect more than one target within a predetermined radius set by the caster)

Hellfire: It ignites the area surrounding the caster, causing fire to erupt underneath all enemies.

Blade Storm: Blades from the cave of steel are summoned to take down all enemies surrounding the caster.

The other 2 spells were average offensive spells.

Lightning Bolt: A Bolt of Lightning descends on the enemy, causing burning damage and paralysis effects.

Mana Bomb: A chunk of condensed Mana is thrown, causing a great explosion of aggressive Mana.

Link was interested in all 4, and with the money he had been earning, Link purchased them without hesitation. He received the books from Olly and left, heading back to his home.

<Recording...>

It took longer than expected, but Link managed to learn all 4 spells after 3 hours. At the same time he started producing Scrolls using Lightning Bolt and Mana Bomb. These were single target spells that would have more success in killing than the other AOE spells.

Link returned to his routine. He was either crafting at home, or making trips to the Magic Shop.

The people that purchased these scrolls were the Royal Guards, mercenaries and some adventurers. Link had great success in what he was doing since unlike other stores, he sold his products cheap with fair prices.

He was not after the coins after all. All he wanted was his scrolls to be used by others. Each time Link created a scroll, the System took 5 minutes in its creation. It was a reasonable time and Link was satisfied. He would sometimes leave a great number of scrolls and materials in the Craftsmanship tab, letting the system create a great number by itself.

In the time these took to be crafted, Link spent his time practicing his Martial Arts. He made great advancements with The Heavenly Steps and God of War's Fists. Day after day passed with the same routine. Link would sometimes get bored by it but he would see something once in a while that cheered him up.

<Blood Bat Killed>

<1 000 Exp Acquired>

<Human Killed>

<1 200 Exp Acquired>

<Black Wolf>

<5 000 Exp Acquired>

These messages would always appear, encouraging Link to continue with what he was doing. He did not think about the small number, seeing it as only the beginning. He was making great progress with his Martial Arts so he did not see the time spent not hunting wasted.

On a random day, Link received the message he had been waiting for.

<Level Up>

<1 Status Point Acquired>

<1 Skill Point Acquired>

He quickly added the status point to his Stamina, rounding it up to a 15. He then increased Mana Arrow's level with the skill point.

A week passed with nothing unusual...

<You seem to have forgotten about something>

Zero spoke, hearing Link complaining about wanting to Hunt something. He would sometimes mutter these words and Zero heard him every time.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

<Dungeon Search>

These two words made Link smack his forehead. "I'm an idiot!" Link quickly finished his shopping trip to the Magic shop and ran home, filling up the Craftsmanship Tab then he said it. "Dungeon Search!"

<Level 25 Dungeon Detected>

<Enter? Yes / No>

"Fuck Yes!"

**********************************************************

I believe I've made a mistake back in the previous chapters, Luckily someone pointed it out for me.

Each time Link would rank up a tier (Going from Tier 1 to Tier 2). Instead of 1 Skill and Status points, I usually gave him 2 for each. One for the level up and the other for the Tier increase.

(He started as a Tier 1 mage straight away btw for anyone who forgot, and for the people that still don't understand what just happened. I'm basically saying i missed 2 stat points i forgot to add and behaved like i did)

Counting the extra points in his Strength, Stamina and Agility. I've only used 20 Points, so I'll add the 2 points right now in Agility, as that is what Link would have done anyways ;).

This does not affect the story in any way, so please overlook it <3

(You can skip the <<<<Explanation>>>> if you wish)

<<<<Let me explain this quickly, just in case someone got confused. I usually make a jump from Level 9 back to 1 and increase his tier, with him starting at Level 1 each time. So technically he should have earned 9 Stat points normally from the start until he ranks up, but i always give him an extra stat point when he jumps tiers, so that makes it exactly 10 stat points earned in the leveling up from 1 to level 1 plus increasing a tier. That meant he should have had 22 Status Points by now, counting the extra 2 levels he earned recently.>>>>

(You'll find the changes down there)
