Reborn to be the strongest God

After Centuries of being the Demonlord, Gerar quits. Why must he torture men when it's no longer fun? Why must he conquer the world when there's nothing to gain from it? Why must he be the demon lord when there's nothing left to challenge? So, he decides to quit and just dies. But instead of being reborn as a weak demon or even a human, he gets reborn as an Angel and thus his journey to supreme godhood begins! . .. ... Hi, Yet here- So, this is a fantasy story but there are also sci-fi elements. There's a harem but Mc's not particularly into romance. This story is basically a culmination of the things I find interesting and hopefully, you guys will find it interesting too (It'll keep on evolving into different coherent stories, ranging from traditional fantasy to sci-fi and even space exploration, as the volumes pile up). This'll also be my largest planned novel yet, so let's see how that turns out. I'll try to keep the updates regular and will release bonus chapters if I can. In return, I expect votes. Oh yeah, I do have a server. https://discord.gg/vnnbHCJ4Sn Thank you for reading; I wish you a good day.

Descent

"So, you'll be the son of a now deceased noble," Sarveisa said, standing on the Interdimentinal Elevator. "And I'll be your mother," She smirked, proudly.

Darkness all around-

They were standing on seemingly nothing-

Yet-

There was something-

"And I'll be your sister…" Rose mumbled… sighing.

Distant lights-

The same entrance they came through- now locked and two lesser angels just staring through the space-

"Of course, you'll be required to undergo a bit of a transformation and grow up a little."

"She means you'll have to look older than a baby, and we can't show off our wings…." But then Rose realized. "Sorry…"

Mihael didn't have wings.

Meanwhile-

Mihael didn't really even say a frigging thing.

His parents were just outside the lonely dark room-

Waving and stuff-tearing up.

He didn't.

Yet-

He felt…

'So this is…' A minor sigh. 'I'm growing soft…'

Yet-

Yet-

Perhaps he didn't dislike the feeling.

After all- wasn't it proof he cared for his family and was actually-

Alive?

Light!

Bright!

White!

But no, not as intense as heaven.

And as his eyes adjusted, as his senses tingled-

Yup- this was the lower world.

The lower plains, Entora.

The very land he once ruled.

They'd warped to a cliff-

Below them was a forest- as far as the eyes could see. Green, some large four-legged monster just roaming about-

And behind- just more forest.

Basically, surrounded on all fronts.

"Why this place?" Mihael asked.

"Because technically we were nobles here. But due to recurring the wrath of the Forest Gods, our estate became nothing and now we're landless," Rose said.

They wore typical aristocrat clothes.

The angels hid their wings expertly.

But even without their wings, they couldn't really hide their angelic beauty. After all, they were indeed high angels.

Mihael meanwhile, appeared to be thirteen.

His eyes remained the same, his skin lost a bit of its glow but even so- his majestic charm didn't leave one bit.

Of course, he wasn't thirteen in reality but he sure appeared to be.

"Huh…" Mihael shrugged. "Who'd believe such-"

"They would. After all, they don't have enough intelligence to-" Sarveisa attempted but Mihael just stared blankly. Which prompted her to- "Right?"

He rolled his eyes. "Have you ever met a mortal?"

"I have not, no."

"Then I suppose, this'll be a good experience for you." A snort. "Come, I sense life just past that mountain."

"What mountain, I don't see any-" Rose blinked a couple of times. "What the-"

Apparently, they'd warped again.

A few hundred kilometers-

They warped next to a port city.

Judging by the massive castle and the city itself, probably one of the biggest of the continent.

And their destination.

"Weren't we supposed to-?" Rose stared at Sarveisa-

She stared back at Rose- "Yes but… I suppose this works too…"

Technically they were supposed to be taking the road and covering this distance while also traveling across the land- but-

With a minor sigh- "How'll we get down from here though? I mean without being seen. Teleport magic should be legend down here…" Rose said.

A gentle breeze, making her gloden locks flutter-

Mihael shrugged. "Not really." And with a flick of a finger, they were already down from the mountain, and by the gates of the city, literally cutting in between the line, at the very top.

"Um-" The people behind them were not happy but they couldn't really do anything about it-

After all-

The three for better or worse appeared to be nobles.

"Yes? How can we help you?" A guard rushed to them.

Eight soldiers, more gathering.

Apparently, they were a bit alarmed by the teleportation but not overly cautious.

"We'd like to enter-" Sarveisa said. "We have an appointment with the lord of this place. I believe his name was Marquis?"

"Marquis Andruis Von Zelan," Rose said, flashing that mocking smile to Sarveisa.

Which she begrudgingly ignored.

"Ah, then you must be the Sanders- yes, my lord is expecting you."

'Expecting us a week sooner? Heh…' But of course Sarveisa didn't let her emotions show.

"If I may, my lady-" The soldiers couldn't help but blush but they still had their duty- "Why are you traveling alone?"

Not just the soldiers-

The people too-

Everyone just-

Stared at the magnificence of the ladies…

"Hmm… all of our servants, including my husband were turned to living wood. Therefore, it is only natural we travel alone-"

"No, I mean you could have hired at least a carriage and-"

"Unnecessary-" Mihael warped the three to the other side of the entrance.

Inside the city.

Why hadn't he just done that sooner?

Because apparently there was a local rule stating Teleportation into cities was strictly forbidden and failure to abide by such law would force the state to arrest said man and detach him, eventually executing him.

Of course, some still used teleportation anyway and that's why- almost all cities had teleportation blockers.

How'd Mihael know?

Cause he invented it.

Why could he just bypass the teleportation blocker?

Cause he invented it!

Some of the soldiers were indeed shocked but Mihael took extra caution to not warp too far. Just on the other side of the door, nothing much.

And that's why-

"I see. Yes, that does indeed explain your situation. However, we cannot permit you to walk around inside the city. After all, who knows who might end up hurting you. And thus, please use our carriage."

Inside the carriage-

Tug-

Tug-

The horses pulled just fine-

"They have motorized vehicles too-" Rose said. "Why's it smoking though?"

The soldiers arranged a modest carriage- not bad, not overly fancy either.

"Some houses have smoke too…." Sarveisa said. "And odd-shaped houses…"

Stone, wooden, but some made from bricks.

"Civilization has matured a bit," Mihael said, a faint smile. "Might have been worth it to come down."

"I know right!" Sarveisa squealed, excited.
